We needed new plates for daily use and I had no idea that eco-friendly tableware was even a thing. But as we transition to more sustainability in our home, I did a search for eco-friendly plates -- and the Get Fresh bamboo brand continued to catch my eye. LOVE the colors, the feel of the surface, how they hold up beautifully with use and in the dishwasher. These are fabulous. Say goodbye to melamine and plastic tableware. You'll be glad to switch to eco-friendly, non-toxic plates for your every day use (getting ready to buy cups next).

Plates look nice (the turquoise and red are both vibrant) and seem sturdy. Our 2-year old twins are quite rough on their plates and these have already stood up to being thrown/dropped several times without cracks or scratches. Much easier to clean than sectioned silicon plates.

I don't like the feeling of the plates they're so light but feel like plastic, But they work if I had children I'd be number one fan. I'm just not a bamboo fan apparently

I bought these plates for my kids to use in place of plastic plates. They are great, easy to hand wash and have had no problems with placing them in the top rack of the dishwasher. They are nice enough that my husband and I have even used them. We’ve dropped them and they haven’t broken, haven’t noticed any scratches from knives when cutting food on the plate either.

These plates are excellent for everyday use. Lovely colors, good size for all meals, no more paper plates. I'll even use them for company, casual entertaining once we go back to life without covid virus. The plus is that we're helping the environment. Finally, they are the perfect weight, not heavy, not flimsy. I will buy more.

These are perfect plates to replace the paper plates that we used to use! I did accidentally put one in the microwave- YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO- and it didn't ruin the plate, but it did create a black mark on it, so I make sure I remember that they do not go in the microwave. I love the colors and how easy they are to clean! I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking to get rid of paper plate use and make a great eco-friendly choice with these!

Colors are very different, more grey. The plates get extremely hot in the microwave.

I bought these plates in search of an environmentally friendly option. Shame on me for not doing more research into the product before purchasing, but buyer beware! If you are looking for a sustainable, eco-friendly option, DO NOT BUY these. While I do like the color and light weight feel of these plates, when they arrived I thought they had a plastic feel to them even though they are advertised as bamboo. Their website even says they will breakdown in a compost after 2-3 years however, also mentions that the product is also made with MELAMINE which takes over 500 years to break down. If you care about the environment, DO NOT BUY these. I feel that the advertising is completely misleading! I had to do some deeper searching to get to find that the product is not eco friendly. That was thanks to another review written on Amazon that said to look at the actual website for the materials used to produce these. So disappointed!!
