Lotus Ball (Medium)

Great product!

I use these as a high value reward for my treat motivated Cocker. She is nuts for them and it ups her attention and performance when this is the reward. New ones have a tight Velcro but as the toy is used the Velcro gives more and I feel the harder pull at first means it will last longer over time. I done let her play with this as a toy. It’s a useful training tool but I’m sure it would not last as a chew toy.. it isn’t designed to be a chew toy.

We have an Aussie Shepherd who likes to work for her treats. We have all kinds of puzzle games for her and noticed that she loves tearing at my wife’s Velcro sandals—so we bought her the Lotus. Don’t get me wrong, she loves it, but in the first 20 minutes, the netting was shredded and she had torn a hole in the side and stuffing poked out. If they had skipped the netting and made this with a much more durable fabric, this thing would be practically indestructable—but, as we have learned, all dog toys have a shelf life and a time to retire them. I had just hoped this one would have lasted longer. We still use it (it only arrived on Monday) but I’m not quite sure how much longer it’ll hold. There are now two holes where stuffing is poking out. We’ll use it until it’s done—and then probably buy another. It’s great for engaging your dog and keeps them busy, you might want to consider buying in bulk though.

I have a Berner, and for those who have pups that don’t enjoy retrieving this is a great toy to use with high value treats and have your dog find the ball and get the reward! Also, it’s a great training tool! Highly recommend for your non-aggressive chewers. It’s held up very well through many sessions

This is a great treat puzzle that keeps my dogs occupied. Two of them can't quite figure it out yet but boy do they try.

I taught my mature rescue dog to play with this toy. It was really great progress for her. Now she loves to shred them to pieces so unfortunately I don't think I will keep buying them since they only last a few days.

My dogs love this ball for training. The durability is very disappointing. I'm on my third ball. The problem is that the small "teeth" on the velcro pull out readily; to the point of the ball opening up and dislodging the treat in the grass when tossed. I called and spoke to Clean Run about the issue and they sent a replacement immediately. The replacement lotus ball began losing it's velcro teeth within the first week. I know of several people who have also had the same issue. This training tool would be perfect if the company would fix the velcro problem.

I haven't actually been able to use this yet as my puppy won't join our family for another month, but this toy came highly recommended by a friend who has 3 dogs and they all love this toy, not to mention it has held up to the test of time with obvious wear and tear - but still in 1 piece and being enjoyed by 3 playful dogs.
