I have other solar lights for the sidewalk leading to the front door and they look nice but they don't have the ambiance these have. I put one at either end of the front yard next to some bushes and they complete the look nicely. You get the feeling you're in Hawaii or Tahiti the way they're designed. I just got them so time will tell how well they work/last. A little disappointment initially, the manual should explain that only three buttons are actual working buttons. It showed, buttons 1, 2, 3 and what each one did but that's it. I thought someone had forgotten to put the rest of the instructions for the rest of the buttons inside the box and I went on this big search to find the "COMPLETE" manual but had no luck. Then I came here and looked at the questions and answers and found that all the buttons other than 1, 2, and 3 were just dummy buttons. That should've been explained in the MANUAL! One less star for the hassle.

I bought them as a gift for a friend. I charged them up before giving them so they would be ready to go. i tried the remote to make sure it worked. It did, but with no real instructions I had to guess what the capabilities of the torches were. It had 3 flame styles and the 4th one was off. Four more remote buttons that I couldn't really tell what they did. (They may have made the flame dimmer) I think they are nice torches and More affordable than many others. I hope they last a long time.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm all about remote-controlled candles, fireplaces etc. Also just got back from Hawaii and wanted to keep the aesthetic with me at home, so I found these remote controlled tiki torches. The fire look is seriously amazing, these guys should try making some fireplaces.The battery shipped with the remote didn't work for some reason. I thought it did because I could see the emitter light flicker when I pressed buttons. But I tried swapping out the battery and the remote works great now. The stand seems a little unstable, easy to knock over, I may 3D print something else or try and get some weights inside. But considering these were the only remote control LED torches I found this is an amazing product.

Bought these lights exchanged one set because the remote was not working, received the second set and remote didn’t work as well , I pulled the battery out, bought a new battery ! The problem is that the product came in with dead battery !Otherwise we love the lights !

These lights really work. Purchased in November 2018 and used every night since. I use them in a covered patio to accent 2 corners. I like that this set has an option to be free standing on the ground or on a table. The lights last for 10-11 hours. There is a remote control which is not necessary. In the morning I reposition the lights to a spot to recharge under max sunlight ( about 8 hours of sun). I love these so much that I decided to purchase another set April 2019 but now they are unavailable. Get these back soon, they are on my wish list. Other product don't have the free standing option. Like the price, free standing option (remote control not necessary) but most importantly, they work and they stay on all night.

Thanks for your customer service when i needed it and the credit on the dead battery. The tiki torches are workinggreat in my backyard. they are staying on for about 4 to 5 hours right now. Summer should be about 8 to 10 hrs.I would buy again. - Jeff

I ordered 2 sets and the remote does not work on either set. I don't want to deal with a refund or exchange, past experience in such matters with Amazon is a NIGHTMARE!

Used this as decoration for Hawaiian week but it looks real and can be used year round. Flexibility to use as floor lamp or in a plant and can be short or tall is great. A safe way to bring the tiki light into your world.
