Triad products haven't let me down yet.
Review is for the Triad C218 universal ballast. I've replaced a number of old ballasts with Triad over years and have had no problems with installation or operation. When needed a ballast for a 18W 2G11 bulb I came looking for Triad to do it. This unit will handle one or two 18W CFLs so was an ideal choice. Received the unit before expected arrival date in simple mailer envelope in original box. Triad supplies the ballast with about 6" long black, white, green AC wires and similar length pairs of red, yellow, blue lamp wires. Also included is a "pic" used to open the wire catches in case you didn't install the correct wire in correct position, a mounting screw, and the base which has two studs for mounting (but no nuts). Complete a kit as you could ask for. I had it mounted, wires connected and powered up in under 3 minutes. As I recall this is sold as a rapid start version; but I did notice there was a slight pause after flipping the switch before the bulb came up to full power. Otherwise, worked as expected. Good product, good price, good support and generally easy to find a replacement for your application.
