I have a 4 yr old who loves ice cream. I bought one of those Yonanas/banana ice cream makers so at least he would be eating a healthier version. These little containers are a life saver. They are a perfect portion. You don't have to leave a quart of ice cream on the counter to thaw. He can take his own little cup out, let it thaw and eat a few minutes later. I don't have to worry about a large container being left out and going to waste. Also with a larger container, the constant thawing and freezing can lead to freezer burn. If I make too much ice cream, the silicone lid is convenient because it stretches a little over the top, I find it to be more forgiving if I overfill. I like that it's dishwasher safe. If you are a person who eats a LOT of ice cream at one sitting, this isn't for you [unless you are trying to work on portion control]. I love this product. I order 2 sets. I don't like making a lot of little batches of ice cream, I would much rather stock it up and not have to make it for a few more weeks. These are great, well made and durable, I really can't think of anything negative. I guess I wish there were more lid colors to choose from because we tend to make a lot of different flavors at once and that would make it easier to differentiate between them.

6 ounces is the perfect size for an ice cream treat. The cups are sturdy and the silicone caps fit perfectly. Initially I bought 2 six packs but went back and bought a third set. The keep the ice cream cold and crystal free (fill the cup up to the top and run a knife over the surface to keep it level). I just rinse them out and let them air dry until ready to put in the cabinet.

We make our own dog ice cream, and these are perfect cups. Freeze well and hold up to the dogs. Not saying they cannot be damaged by the dogs, but the worst we have seen is some paw scratches on the cup, did not affect the use.

These cups are surprisingly durable for the price. The lids form a perfect seal. They keep the ice cream from forming ice crystals. It's nice to not have to use preservatives and such in my ice cream. The cups are easy to clean. Overall, it's a great product. I only have 2 minor issues:- The serving size is very small.- My ice cream maker makes 1.5 quarts. I ends up with too much ice cream and not enough cups. It would have been perfect had they sold 8 cups in a pack rather than 6.I plan on buying another set of these as well as buying the larger, one-quart ones. That should fix the problem. Otherwise, these are pretty neat.

I've just found a terrific homemade ice cream recipe but found it too difficult to scoop when I wanted just one serving. These allow me to portion it out before freezing. I was concerned that the ice cream would get freezer burn or that these wouldn't wash well. I'm happy to report that the ice cream didn't get freezer burn (although I did place them inside of a zipper plastic bag) and they washed well without staining (even the chocolate ice cream). What a great product!

These are very sturdy and a perfect portion for storing home made ice cream and other frozen desserts. I even sometimes by a half gallon of ice cream and since it softens up on my trip home from the store; I go ahead and transfer the half gallon to these single serve cups. They REALLY help with portion control because some of those treats are so delicious... it's easy to just keep on going until your sorry! These cups are the perfect size! I bought one set to try them out and wish I would have signed up for the VIP program immediately because I could have gotten 10% off the 2 additional sets I ordered so I would have enough to handle a full batch of homemade ice cream.

These containers are the perfect size to store our homemade ice cream. They are a much better alternative to glass jars or plastic storage tubs. The lid seals perfectly, so we don't get any frost burn on the ice cream. Also, any strong odors/flavors from other foods do not transfer to the food in these containers. They are easy to clean as well.

I made ice cream at a home a lot and these really are the perfect portion size. They are easy to clean since they can go in the dishwasher, and because the lid is silicone it is easy to remove even when coming straight out of a deep freeze. My only gripe is how messy it can be to fill them with ice cream, but that will happen with any container of this size, it's not a design flaw. I cannot speak to their durability since I've only put them through two ice cream cycles so far, but I'll update if there is anything to say about it in the future. Thinking about buying more.
