This is a pretty good single unit speaker system, but slightly disappointed. More my own fault than anything to do with the unit. I was wanting a small subwoofer unit to add to a portable sound system. Given the title of this product page I thought that was what I was ordering. Instead, this is more a full range sound system with a built-in subwoofer.The unit is bigger than what I imagine it would be from the photos - again, if I had read all of the information on the page I would have seen how big it was. Unit looks nice - and was reasonable easy to setup, all the cables needed were included. I did have an issue getting it to switch to the Aux input mode, but eventually did. The remote is tiny, and is something you will need to keep track of as some of the functions can only be accessed by using the remote. There are some buttons on the face of the unit for basic functions, as well as a power button on the rear. The unit is powered by a typical power transformer. One nice feature is that there is a USB power port on the back as well that I imagine is for powering an MP3 player.System sounds pretty good, there is a bit of a hiss when the AuX input is not getting any input, not noticeable to my ears when music is playing. Haven't tried the Bluetooth mode - really didn't buy this for that. Might try it out later and edit my review if there is any issue with that.Overall, for the price I paid for this I'm reasonably satisfied with my purchase. Just a little disappointed this wasn't a dedicated subwoofer unit.

I love music and saw a review that it’s not 40 watts. It is the best speaker I’ve found for the price. You want loud I own a $20,000 system with 9 Definitive speakers and 4 def tech subs. You want good sound under $50 you buy this. I’ve got it hooked to a 3 g echo dot turned to max with the audio controls set to bass max, mid at 0, and highs at + 1. Set the system to movie mode. And it rocks. Have it included in my 7 Echo everywhere speaker system and it’s a great system. Stop complaining and enjoy a great value

Key Points:*Advertised as a “powered subwoofer”. It is NOT. It has a subwoofer built in, but only as part of it’s entire speaker system.*For it’s size, the overall audio quality is just mediocre. There are smaller bluetooth speakers out there which produce far better audio*Makes loud beeping sound after a period of not being used.*Priced well for what it can do.

Very sleek look. Easy to hook up and pair/Bluetooth with your phone. Sound isn’t as loud as you would think for its size but great quality for the price.

Love this speaker . Can't beat it for the price. Well built , great sound.

this is not 40 watt rms. item description is misleading ir false advertising. I’m a diasppointed buyer. i returned the item.
