Works as advertised
The mechanical parts work great and the instructions were easy to understand. The Tile and flashlight didn't work right away. The first unit I received had a dead battery. After sending away for a replacement unit, linking the key holder to my phone took about 3 minutes. I'm generally satisfied with the performance of my key holder after a few weeks of use.

Great way to hold and track your keys
This is a great way to track your keys, and I really like the rechargeability. The light is also nice, though not that bright, and the ability to find your phone from your keys (and vice versa) is great. The material isn’t as nice as the non-Tile versions: this is plastic, not the metal on the “standard” KeySmart, but I suspect that’s necessary for the internal electronics.

Good but faulty
This is great for the most part. It serves my purposes well. However the Tile does not work. I made sure it is charged, did everything right but it will not connect with the app. Ive tried plenty of times but to no avail. Im not sure if its an app problem or not but oh well. Overall it is durable does not scratch easily and is good quality but if you really want the tile feature I would be careful.

Over priced and useless in its current design.
I first have to say, I truly hate writing bad reviews. If something is average I might/might not write something about it, most likely not. If I feel something is great/worth wild, I WILL write about it. The item must be horrible, not just bad, I mean worse than bad for me to write a bad review about it. This, not so smart, keysmart falls into that horrible category.I like the concept, it does eliminate the bulge a normal key ring makes. Just the MAJOR design flaws outweigh the only good thing about this key holder and makes it fall into the horrible, waste of money category for me. This was not a gift, I bought the not so smart, keysmart with my own money. Now to the issues.1) You get an accessory such as bottle opener with the keysmart. The poor design issue is that the attachment slot for say your cars key fob is on the accessory. That means that if you attachment your key fob to this not so "keySmart", that end is totally useless. You try to use a key and that end, your key fob or the bottle opener moves out and is in the way of using the key, making access to keys useless on the end with the bottle opener/accessory slot.2) There is no JUST accessory slot available. ALL accessory slots are part (opposite end) of useless accessories such as the bottle opener.3) I tried to use the accessory slot that came with the basic keysmart. They are incompatible with each other. The keysmart pro is a little larger than the basic keysmart. The distance from the screw to the edge on the keysmart pro is much greater than that of the basic keysmart. All accessories should be interchangeable, but they are not. This is another poor design choice.4) The Tile locater in this device has limited distance, may 15 to 20 feet. If you are in the same room, and active the Tile on your phone, it MIGHT sound the Tile beeper/music tones on the keysmart pro. Do not expect to get the 100 to 300 foot activation distance you get from a normal Tile.5) The sound from the Tile locater is extremely low volume, you need to make sure there is no sound at all in the room or you will not hear it. When I mean no sound, I mean, no TV, no radio, no air conditioner running and no one talking, not even whispering. The room must be in total silence, so that you might be able to hear the Tile beeps/music tones. If your keys has slipped between the sofa cushion, forget about trying to hear the tones. The keysmart built in Tile will be muffled out with any cushion or small sofa pillow. Maybe I am just use to being able to set off a Tile and hear it from one end of the house to the other and be able to find it and the attached item, very quickly.6) The two screws, one on each end that holds the entire thing together, continuously loosens up. If you have the belt clip attach, the screw will loosen all the way out without you noticing, until you drop all your keys on that end. I have added a drop of loctite to the screws to attempt to keep this not so smart keysmart together.7) The tiny flashlight on the keysmart pro is useless. A) Very dim, does not put out enough light, not even enough for say a woman to look in her purse. B) It is integrated into the not so keysmart key holder. No way to look for the correct key if you have several similar keys. So the cheap useless tiny, dim flashlight is just a gimmick to increase the cost.Over all, good concepts but extremely horrible design. I cannot and will not recommend this over priced key holder in its present state.Recommendation:1) Separate the accessory slot from the accessories.2) Redesign all accessory to make them universal between all keysmarts key holders.3) Fix the screws, make them self-locking so this thing stays together.4) Increase the Tile sound volume. Maybe add some speaker holds so the sound CAN escape and be heard.5) And finally on the keysmart pro, do away with the useless, tiny flashlight and negotiate a better deal with Tile to lower the price. A Tile only retails for $15, the tiny flashlight is less than $1. Yet you increased the price from a basic keysmart of $20 to $50 for the pro. There is no $30 value increase. With the MAJOR limitations with the Tile and the worthless flashlight, maybe a $10 increase, IF you resolve the about listed issues.

Love it!
I really like this product. I had a hard time getting the Tile thing to work though. I charged the KeySmart over night, pushed the tile button and got nothing. Tried again the next day and it works great!_______________________________________________________________________________________________Still 5 stars! I love this thing!I'm NOT changing my rating I just need some help. My locator feature works only while I'm charging and the light just doesn't work. I'm thinking its a simple battery issue. Where can I get a new battery? I would also like to add a knife to mine. Thank you.

Good item, trash quality.
I purchased this and received the item relatively fast. It's just as described, a smart keychain.Pros:-Great organizational tools-Very sleek design-Flashlight helps a lot at night-Tile functionality is great to find your keys quickly.Cons:-Materials are cheap plastics (For a $60+ keychain I expect at least premium material)-Materials (I know I stated it twice, every time I use the keychain I feel like it's gonna break on me since I could feel the material has a lot of give to it, again for an item at this price point it's a shame that they want to go this route and use cheaper material to make their item)-The placements of the Flashlight and Tile button are (Oblivious), every time I use the keychain I always hits either the flashlight button or the tile button ( those beeps gets annoying after a couple of times)-Getting the keys out is a hassle to say the least. All in all I think it's a good buy, would absolutely loved this keychain if the materials used are stronger and more sturdy (Higher quality). There are some things that should be redesigned, but overall a good item to have rather than those jiggling keys on your pockets.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Find a better quality material for this item, if you think about it... It's a $60+ keychain (A KEYCHAIN) the least you could do is build it better than this.... I don't know how long this will last me. But I will keep you guys updated on the condition (I feel like it could breaks on me at any time)

I really like this.
I read plenty of reviews that it's not durable. I have to admit thats my worry as well. Just don't use it as a hammer

Neat idea but not what I expected.
I got these for Christmas SKS. I bought one for my wife and one for myself. I haven’t actually used it although it’s been a couple of months because every time I try to use it it’s a dad so it needs to be recharged often. The flashlight and the tile button that helps you find your phone it’s so small that you cannot push it with your finger. do you need a fingernail and really dig it in there. The flashlight comes on all the time I respected and it’s really hard to turn off. I wish I never bought them as they are not useful.

Look, it's a multitool, no it's a keychain, no it's keysmart!
Why was this not an idea AGES ago?!?With the other keysmart tools this is amazing, I like the #2 Phillips to be right next to the LED as it's way too useful. The tile function is also quite handy, I most often find myself using it to confirm that I put my keys where I thought I put them, very handy for the last minute out the door key scavenger hunt as they tell you where they are rather than ripping all your hair out and getting dosing rods and metal detectors and having a panic attack. Other than all that my keys are quieter when clipped on my backpack now rather than acting like a bear bell all loose on a split ring. I plan on getting some keysmart minis to divide and organize my more specialized keys based on their application. Best of all, no more guessing what keys do what anymore.

Novedoso
Si lo que buscas es mostrar un estilo tecnologico y elegante, este gadget te servira, muy buenos materiales aunque aun deseamos que la tapa posterior sea mas resistente, evita caidas o apretar de mas los tornillos y durara mucho tiempo.

Disappointing and Ineffective
I've had this thing now for a little over two years at this point and frankly I still believe I wasted my money on it. Over the first several months of use, the Tile app barely worked and trying to ping my keys when I should be well within range of them was impossible. App would always say "Connecting" when I tried to look for my keys. All of the important functionality that you would want for something like this is all sequestered behind an obnoxious subscription that effectively defeats the purpose of even having something like this long term. The app I will say has gotten better to the point where I can reliably connect to my keys when they have a charge but that unfortunately leads me into the next glaring issue with this thing. KeySmart advertises a "Full charge lasts up to 45 days!" when in reality this thing barely made it through two weeks brand-new. Even just a year of use had severely degraded the battery which only made it harder to use. Going on two years this thing barely lasts a few days before dying and it now spends most of its time on the charger. Long-term this thing is worthless but that's to be expected from Tile products, nothing they make nowadays lasts more than a year before becoming practically useless. As a key organizer, this thing's actually pretty good although the "Polycarbonate" i.e. cheap plastic construction can and will get damaged over time, even if you take good care of it. If you're looking for a key organizer just get the regular KeySmart. Save yourself the time, money and hassle and just ignore this piece of e-waste.
