It does exactly what it claims and removed the extrinsic stains on my teeth within a week. My teeth looked noticeably more polished after just a few brushes. However, I found the shade scale on the packaging a bit unclear, so it was hard to tell how many shades whiter my teeth actually got. The minty flavour was quite strong at first but gradually mellowed to a more pleasant level. Overall, a very effective toothpaste.
