20pcs Journey to the West Chinese famous classic picture books for kids age 3-8 with Pinyin

I have been looking for a set of extracurricular picture simplified Chinese with pinyin books for my granddaughter who is in 2nd grade MLP textbook. This set of book is exactly what I am looking for - interesting pictures 3-5 lines of text, thin booklets! Love it!!

received two chapter 2 with the first book missing.

I was expecting flimsy paper for this cost, but since I just wanted them to supplement my classes I didn’t care. The paper is much better than I expected. Colors are bright, writing is easy to read, and font size is perfect for putting tracing paper over to practice characters. Overall I am impressed and will probably buy some more series of books when I finish these.

Was sent 20 books :/ however the first book is missing. I got double of the second story book. It’s too bad :(

My chinese husband says these books are great and tell the traditional story of the monkey king. The books divide the mo meh kings journey into short easy to read portions for kids. Order came quickly and no delays.

This collection is supposed to have 20 stories, but mine came with book 3 missing. It also takes a much longer time than promised for the item to arrive.

Everything except the writing suggests these books are for young children, but the text seems way too difficult for kids. The pinyin doesn’t even help that much because the vocabulary is so advanced and it’s full of names and references to various deities and obscure legendary characters…I don’t know how a child can really understand these books🤷🏻‍♀️
