I purchased these for my 7yr old daughter. She loved painting them and it was something she could do on her own. They are the perfect lil nightlight in her room, and like that theyre battery operated, so we can hang them anywhere.

This crystal set was simple to use. Some of the crystals came out looking like the images on the box. Others, not so much, but what do you expect when you're creating crystals in a hexagonal bowl rather than nature? If I did it again, I would go lighter on the red coloring. It tells you how much to put into the cup and how to mix the colors to get different ones, but I ended up with 3 red crystals that were supposed to be 1 each of red, pink and purple, so...Just know if you want purple use less red and more blue than it actually says, and if you want pink, use more white and less red than it says.

This is the coolest craft/light set ever! We just bought it from a local museum and painted them ourselves (5 and 8 year old—plus mom). They snap over led lights and look amazing!! I’m so glad we got these. Such a good addition to my daughter’s room.*the picture doesn’t do them justice. They look so much prettier in person!

We had it for one day and it broke. I now have a very sad kid.
