This set is very sturdy and looks much more expensive than it was. Assembly was fairly easy for someone like me who usually has trouble. The stools fit under the table which is nice for small spaces. I love this set and would definitely recommend.

I was excited to receive my Nathan James Viktor set and couldn’t wait to unbox it. After putting it together (which was easy, with all the pieces being available) I noticed slight imperfections to the table top. I was disappointed because the table looked perfect except for the slight piling of the tabletop. I immediately contacted the company (not Amazon) and the service rep was so helpful and polite. My problem was not only resolved easily/speedy but I was allowed to keep my old set for extra pieces. So there was no hassle of re-shipping to do and my second set was delivered fast. The company also sent me a thank you with a box of chocolates, hands down the best customer service that I have ever experienced. The set itself adds a sense of luxury to my small living room and goes well with my velvet, blue, sofa. The cushioned bar stool are easy on the lower back and hips and the fabric keeps you cool. The table’s legs are sturdy which lets me know this table will last if cared for properly. I’d recommend this set to anyone who has a small space but still desire an eloquent looks without breaking the bank or crowding the room.

I’m really happy I made this purchase. This was the easiest piece of furniture I’ve ever put together in my life. It took me about an hour by myself. Everything was packaged very carefully. There was no damage. The instructions are easy to follow. The only problem I had was with one of the stools, the bolts would not tighten anymore & some of the pieces were still loose. I plan to keep the little table, but get some different stools or chairs that are more sturdy & durable. This is great for something temporary. It fits perfectly in my small kitchen & I love that the stools fit under the table. One recommendation that I have is when you are tightening the legs on the stools make sure you are pushing them in towards the holes while tightening the bolts, the stools will be sturdier & not wobbly. As I tightened the other screws on the wood pieces that go across the legs, I pushed & held the legs towards my body, applying pressure to make sure all the pieces fit correctly & then tightened the screws & made sure they tightened correctly and all the way. I went around a second time & tightened all the screws applying pressure on the legs just to make sure the wood pieces that go across will not slip or pop out of place. I also love that they included extra stickers that go on the bottoms of the stool legs to not scratch the floor & also the ones for the table legs. Overall, I do recommend this little table.

I was looking for something cheap and compact for my TV area in my basement. Although, I will say the quality of the wood/counter top are not very high end, but it's nice looking, sturdy and didn't cost me a lot of cash. I will have to see how it holds up, but I give it 5 stars.

For me This is very easy to assemble , height is just right , im dissapointed about the chairs fabric stapled at the edge it is not secured see my pictures. Table top is light wood with sticker paper for its marble look, some corners are starting to peel off. Tabel very light not safe if you have kids. Too much for its price. This will not last unless for display only chair and table not strudy.

Overview:The world has turned weird, and many of us are looking for ways to turn a small nook into an impromptu desk. Early on all desks were sold out, and I knew I didn't NEED a desk, just a small tall table. This hit the mark, fitting into a corner, the dark wood looking classy with the shiny top. Coffee stains wipe right off, I do expect that the edges will eventually start to chip ( I'm seeing that where my right wrist tends to sit to both type and use the mouse this is starting after about 3-4 weeks of 9-5 M-F usage). I will cover the edges either with washi-tape or contact paper when the time comes.Building!Caveat: I didn't build the chairs! The table went together like a breeze. I had a second person, but it only helped with the speed, it certainly wasn't necessary, and took no time, 20 minutes? to put together. The parts were packaged thoughtfully, and the instructions quite frankly were not only helpful, but downright funny.Sturdiness:I've got this set up with a full (laptop) desk set up, it wiggles only as much as a table would if you push on it. It's firm while typing or working on it.

Save your money. The stools are extremely difficult to assemble. The holes don’t align and make the stool impossible to actually assemble.

Easy install sturdy and looks good in the kitchen.

I bought it for a studio apartment and it looks great in the space, it is easy to store up to 3 stools under it. I added a glass tabletop which makes the marble look real!I am amazed at the negative reviews! My daughter and I have purchased the stools before, and they are very sturdy, holding up well after several months. The tables pictured in some of the reviews are not even this model! e.g. there are no "cross-braces" to break on the table. Contact Nathan James customer service directly, they are very efficient and helpful, and will generally replace anything deflective right away!

The stools are sturdy, but the table is not. Cute and fits perfect. I hope the table holds up.

This set fits perfect in our space and looks great too!

The table is beautiful , I’ll give them that .. but it is very cheaply made. The wood was covering holes that the screws needed to go in , we had to break pieces of wood off that was in the hole where the chair legs were suppose to go in so in order for us to be able to put the chairs together we had to break pieces off. Again it’s beautiful but I’m sure there is better for the amount of money I paid
