This is an excellent tool for installing fletching on your arrow shafts. It is well made out of metal (I think it is zinc) and is solid, sturdy and should last a long time. It is simple to use and features an index system to help line up the fletching in the right spots. Precise, uniform placement of feathers, vanes. Self-centering shaft cradle centers any size shaft. You can adjust angle of fletching by using dials at top & bottom of the tool. Just be aware you need to purchase the actual fletching clamp as it is not included. Supports straight and helical fletching (depending on what clamp you uses).

I’m new to fletching my own arrows but this jig with the YouTube videos made my entry into fletching easy and love being able to tryout new arrow setups. The jig is very sturdy and well made. Buy it, it works!

The magnets and markings make placing your feather or vane exactly where you need it easy every time. Make sure you ORDER THE CLAMP TOO as most on Amazon are just the jig. I wish it had come in it's own box as mine arrived only in a sealed plastic bag among my other purchases which, I'm sure, is why the nock set screws / springs / bearings had fallen out. Thankfully every element of this jig is rock-solid so I was able to reassemble and not have to complain or return.

The Bitzenburger isn't terribly pretty. The Bitzenburger is solid, accurate, reliable, and generations-long sturdy. I bought this to upgrade from the off-shore brand(s). The Bitzenburger is a fantastic upgrade.

I’m not sure if I read the description wrong or if it was misleading, but this is only the base. The jigs are separate. Regardless, the base came in a plastic bag with the directions. When I opened the bag a couple of small parts (bb’s, small set screws, and a very small spring) fell out onto the counter. I took a guess at where these went. I would’ve looked at the instructions but they had gotten completely tore up while in shipping. The actual base seems very nice. The packaging leaves a lot to be desired. It was not packaged for a long travel.

Well worth the extra money to buy this Solid jig and never buy another one. Works great for 2-3 degree straight offset on Easton Injexions (you must buy the straight clamp separate).
