McKesson 1886 Hydrocolloid Dressing, Film Backing, Sterile, 2" Width, 2" Length (Pack of 20)

My horse had a very deep incision on his chest (down to the muscle layer) that tore open. It was heading the wrong direction despite intensive wound care. I used steristrips to support (not close) the incision, applied this dressing, and then covered it with elasto-tape for support. Results were immediate: promoted the start of deep granulation within 24 hours. Within 10 days, the wound had closed. Worth every penny!

. . so are the similar bandages from many other vendors. So, they are good , but AVERAGE, and not worth any premium price for this seller.

My cancer requires frequent changes of bandages and particularly includes this one for its non-stick and drainage capabilities. I've already re-ordered.

This product was recommend by a professional care giver for a small bed sore, Used it on my wife, and in less than a week the sore was completely healed. Great product!!!!!!!!

Very helpful, but make sure you know what the doctor is ordering for the patient it may not always be warranted.

I am a health care provider. I chose the McKesson brand, because it was used in hospitals. I am familiar with hydro-colloid dressings, and have used them on patients for many years. I am very disappointed with this product; the dressings should be able to stay on for several days, but these have come unglued in less than 24 hours. At first I thought it was because the wound was borderline too big for the 2" bandages, so I waited a few days and tried again. The wound is certainly NOT too big at this point, but the dressing still came off after less than 24 hours.
