I'm very satisfied
I rated only 4 stars because of some of the hyperbole in the description -- but I do like them.Details:• "durable, comfortable, stable, and breathable while you're working" - Too early to tell about durability. [EDIT from a year later: Yeah, they seem as good now as they did when I got them.] Definitely comfortable, don't know what "stable" means, and not sure I ever thought about a sock's breathability but they seem fine.• "Max cushioning place underfoot to help absorb shock" ... "Thick padding can relieve foot fatigue... ." Oh come on. That's just marketing. They're noticeably thicker on the bottom, but not by much, and I certainly don't see them absorbing any more shock than numerous other socks I've worn. I've had thinner socks but also much thicker ones. They're perfectly comfortable! Just nothing special that I can tell. I should point out that I'm retired and don't do nearly as much standing as I did at work.• "The heel and toe use thicker yarns" Yep, no question. Just keep it in perspective. "Thicker" is a relative term.• "ARCH SUPPORT - Targeted compression zones provide varying levels of support, and stay in place. The ribbed arch band wraps your midfoot for a supportive feeling." Yes, they do stay in place for me so far. But I wouldn't call it arch support by any means. They're *socks.*• "GREAT ELASTICITY - Elastic rubber bands are used in the leg and foot arch to make sure the socks stay up-compressed in shape and fit the snug, comfortably attached to your calf." This sentence seems like a bad translation, but I will say they slipped on very easily, which many of my socks do not -- a pet peeve. Yet they stay up, too, and fit snugly. Just the right combination. [EDIT from a year later: I've found after many hours of wearing them that they're a bit more snug than I'd like. They get a little uncomfortable and leave marks on my legs that make it obvious where the sock was. But if I wore them only 8 hours or so, they might be fine. It's just surprising, since they slip on so easily.]I will likely be buying more, as they're comfortable, seemingly-well-made socks. Just be wary of the marketing hyperbole.

Darn good!
These are prerfect for me, the weight, thickness, and they stay put sort of like compression socks. They come up high on the calf and are great for work, hiking, and all around use. I haven't had them long enough to judge the durability but they are very well made.

Great thick, supportive socks
Got these for my husband to wear to work (he works in an industrial plant with steel toed boots) and he loves them. He finds them comfortable and supportive. He asked me to get him another pack!

Not as moisture wicking as I would have expected
I bought these based on the reviews regarding the moisture wicking capabilities of these socks. I've been wearing them for about a week now and my experience has been that they leave my toes too damp for my liking. For many years, I always wore only Hanes X-Temp socks and never had any issues. These APTYID socks are not the same... I'm guessing it has to do with the difference in materials... Hanes are cotton based while these are a synthetic mix. And lest you think that I'm wearing non-breathable tight boots for 14 hours a day... I work from home and wear clogs in my house the entire day and still get the dampness. Even more so when I wear sneakers or other shoes when I go out. I also detected an odor in my sneakers and on the socks when I remove them at the end of the day, which I never had before. On a positive note, the socks are very soft and fit very comfortably. I saw one reviewer say that they were constantly slipping down his calf... that has not happened to me at all. They stay up consistently. The one thing I hate about the Hanes is that they leave a ton of lint on your feet/toes and it takes many months of laundry cycles till that tapers off. These APTYID's leave no lint at all. Some reviewers were saying that these socks are very thin and I was nervous they would be dress sock thin, but that is not at all the case... The thickness was just right.
