Don't make my mistake!
Even though the picture shows two couplings and a price, you only get one coupling. I guess I will have to be much more careful with purchases here.

This coupling does not fit a 4 inch fan.
This coupling does not fit a 4 inch fan. It is too big. Just a theory, I think this coupling is for 4 inch PVC pipe which is bigger.
