KRYPTEK MEN’S TARTAROS HOODIE Kryptek’s Tartaros hoodie is a piece of tactical or casual wear that can either be worn as part of a layering system or as a stand alone outer layer piece. Made from 97.5% polyester and 2.5% spandex, the Tartaros features a stretch fabric front kangaroo pocket and 3-piece hood with draw adjustment. Currently available in several color configurations and in three Kryptek patterns: HIGHLANDER Specially designed for those geographical regions and elevations that are varied.Kryptek Highlander increases stealth when pursuing a wide range of quarry in mixed terrain. YETI When conditions worsen and the temperatures fall, when days are short and the shadows are long. Kryptek YetiTM provides concealment when cover is only found in subtle creases of the snow pack. TYPHON Darkness is the ally of the predator that prowls at night. Kryptek Typhon serves those who operate when and where others will not venture Kryptek utilizes a multi-directional design to effectively conceal in a multitude of terrains that have either lateral or vertical flow. The bi-leveling layering of the patterns incorporate background transitional shading and sharp random geometrical foregrounds to create a three dimensional effect that ensures the utmost in concealment at both close and long ranges. These components combined with colorations selected and matched based on input from testing and observations from Operators in the field make Kryptek Camo the ultimate in passive battlefield deception.

Not for Outdoor Use . .
Not for outdoor use! I’ve seen a lot of reviews on here referring to the garbage quality of most of the Kryptec clothing. Except for the most expensive, top end lines of apparel they make, (the items that will run you 3-400$ for one coat) the rest of this stuff is garbage. I have a couple of the high end items and they seem to be solid. The camo patterns are superb - This is where it ends however. The lighter weight items and “casual wear” like the tartaros line, is several stars below the quality u can get at Wal-Mart. Stitching falls apart after one wash, holes appear, etc. it’s almost like this stuff is meant to be disposable after one use. And this is for items I’ve worn to a high school football game and out to eat dinner. I’d hate to see what it looked like if u actually tried to hunt or camp w/ it.This is a classic example of what happens when u take a great product and allow the “sharks” to talk you into going big time w/ it. Send it to China for manufacturing and take the absolute bottom dollar bid. I am highly disappointed that you would put your name on some of this stuff. You should sell your camo pattern to Under Armour and leave the clothing manufacturing up to a company that will at least make it worth the money.

Avant Garde
Country folk pattern, city folk quality. After 1 use and 1 wash the neck cord was missing its end, and the jacket itself is falling apart, with various small holes appearing on the outside of the jacket. Threads coming apart at almost every stitching. This is the 3rd "kryptek" item I have purchased from amazon, 1 pant, 1 shirt, 1 jacket, and they have all been lowest tier level quality of stitching/fabric. I got a stalker/highlander shirt that was utter trash and missing several pieces that was advertised. My stalker/highlander pants are "ok", as in 2 of the buttons popped off out of the box but after sewing have held up to 3 washes. This hoodie has been the worst quality yet. I will not be purchasing further kryptek patterns from Amazon. Sad when a company that advertises as being on the forefront of camouflage tech can't handle one day of very light bush. (Oregon rural, about as tame as it gets). I've purchased cheaper and higher quality gear that were camo and full sets (hats/tops/bottoms) at the local wally world.

Not for hunting
Very light weight. Walmart sells a exact similar warm up for about 15 bucks, so you are paying 25 bucks for the name and camo pattern. It fits correct, looks neat, but this is a piece of gym, bar, house, car, run around clothing. This is not heavy duty or a warm piece of kit, Can be used for moderate temperatures as a layer. For the price point I would not buy again..... does look cool though.

This Hoodie is Iconic
When I wear this hoodie, I feel personal vibes of positive motivations and internal tingles when it comes to owninga piece of todays gear ( a real leather hoodie ) that replicates Greek Military armor very similar to what my greatest Gladitor hero of all-time "Achilles" wore into battle. The Red Spartan Helmet imbed into the hoodie is symbolic to Achilles, Helmet. He was Greek hero of the Trojan War, the central character, and the greatest warrior of Homer's Iliad.Fenomenal-1

Wow my new favorite brand.
I love this hoodie. Its smooth and has a great pattern. It seems a bit thinner than UnderArmor hoodies but it is still very warm. As for sizing order your size. I wear vans tshirts I am an XL in UA storm hoodies I am an XL border XXL because they tend to fit snug. I ordered and XL and it fits perfect. It is not loose and it is not snug. They run true to size.

Essential piece of gear in your layering lineup
Kryptek truly stands up to their “Battlefield to backcountry” motto. After spending time in both, their layering system does everything my USMC issued gear did, AND all of the things I wished it would have. This hoodie breathes well and is comfortable in warm spring afternoons, and still provides enough heat to be my only outer layer in anything above 20°. It is lightweight and very thin for the level of comfort it provides, and works perfectly under the Kryptek Koldo jacket. It may be a bit on the large side, which I don’t mind, as is allows more freedom of movement as an under layer, avoiding that “constricted” feeling you can get with a layering system that is too form fitting. I bought a large (I am 6’3, 250lbs, with broad shoulders, long arms, and a bit of a beer belly) and the fit is perfect! To include long enough sleeves which I never seem to be able to find. Since I got mine, several of my friends have got this hoodie as well, and all not only have the same good things to say, but recommend it to their friends as well. The Camo pattern is a little darker than the exterior layers, but this is excellent as it provides a 3D shadowing affect if you leave your jacket open for any reason, and the color holds up amazingly well after being machine washed several times! I bought this for hunting... but wind up wearing it every day. So my advice is to buy two!

Nice hoodies!
I like these Tartaros hoodies the most out of all the casual sweatshirts that Kryptek is selling right now. The main reason being the material doesn't snag as easily. It's also a really soft and comfy hoodie and the pattern and colors are on point. No loose threads or bad sewing as far as I can see.

Great for layering
I wore this as a third layer (1st: thermals; 2nd: shirt; 3rd: this hoodie; 4th: Kryptek Dalibor II jacket) for a duck hunt and was fine at 30°F. As it warmed up, it was nice to have this as a warmth layer when I removed my jacket. I absolutely love the Kryptek Highlander pattern and think it will work perfect in the rice fields during goose hunts.I'm hoping the durability is as good as it looks. Won't know until I've worn it on a few more hunts.

Very thin, almost cheap material. Expensive for what it is.
I thought for the $180 CAD price I would be getting a heavy fabric hoodie. This is anything but, extremely light material, I would expect it to tear very easily if it caught a nail or something. Beautiful design, but definitely not worth the price tag. Disappointed in terms of the thickness of the material, feels cheap.

Kryptek Tartaros Hoodie - Medium
Very nice quality, it is thin, but very comfortable. Does run a little small. I'm 5'7" 31" waist. Medium fits perfect.
