Excellent quality blade for serious cutting
Awesome sword! worth the price. Out of the box it's already sharp and can cut the shipping box in half. Quality steel, straight blade no bumps. No blood grove but upper portion of the blade is polished. remainder of blade is satin finish down to the cutting edge.Well balanced, no too heavy. Real Hamon. Saya has a unique textured non slippery finish. Tsuba is standard "wagon wheel" as used on lower cost Musha/Musashi blades. All fitting are tight. Removal from Saya is very good, not too tight or easy. Comes with instructions on care. Overall, this is a martial arts Katana designed for serious cutting. Outstanding! If the world went crazy and I had to leave my home with only one Katana (I have 10) for defense, this CAS Hanwei would be it!

This dude said that you can get this same exact katana for 260 and I just looked at kult of athena and this same exact sword is listed at 339.95 . it may be 10 dollars cheaper . but you need to quit lying dude . you're probably just some ungrateful little snob that wants to complain about everything . please quit being a pansy !

Way overpriced here
Good entry level sword.One of the most basic models from Hanweis bottom tier entry level Practical series.Cheaper suede tsukaito.Fat tsuka that's abit uncomfortable due to no shaping.Poor tsukamaki(handle wrap)but is usually tight.Fake samegawa(plastic Rayskin).Wider TaiKai mat cutting geometry.Its one of the cheaper models in this series and is highly over priced at this site.This sword usually sells for under $260.$237 at KultofAthena.
