This item is exactly as pictured. There is an adhesive brown paper covering over both sides of the entire item. Lightly scrape the edge with your nail and start to slowly peel it off to reveal the pink plastic underneath. Not sure how so many people missed this step.

I just this brush holder today and I love it I gave it 5 star only one thing I hate about it this plastic holder is covered with some sticky paper all over and it took me long hour to take it off but other than that the usability is great :) Thanks

It's really good at holding brushes and drying them. I just had complaints from the arrival where the assembly is actually really easy but the brown plastic was so hard to remove I was wondering if they sent me the incorrect color and the brown color was actaully the item.
