Xpand Round Lacing. Elastic No Tie Shoelaces - Quick Release Tension Control - One Size Fits All Adult and Kids Shoes

Perfect fit and function.
My shoelaces would constantly loosen and I'd have to stop and retie them every single time I wore my sneakers. I took to double knotting them it was such a nuisance. I decided to try these out a year or so ago. They've held up perfectly, offer a great fit and have not stretched that they need any adjustment. Plus, I can just slip my sneakers on. I like a tight fit so that my heel doesn't slide out and these allow a perfect snug fit of the shoe without compromise. I bought the flat laces as well and find no difference between them, except these I can adjust the tension better.

Cute laces
Laces are really cute and made my shoes easy slip-ons. They were not easy to assemble as the clip would not click. I had to burn the edges to flatten them to fit properly in the clip. Frustrating, but it’s done.

Love them
Got them for my work shoes. With my age and health they make it so much easier to put on and take off my shoes.

Not the easiest to install with Sperrys, would prefer "hidden" ends
I really DO like these laces. Shoes are so much easier to put on when they don't need to be tied. And some laces, especially Sperry Dock Siders, just don't stay tied. I use these Xpand laces on running shoes too and love them.2 (somewhat) negatives: 1) Xpand round laces only come with "quick release" ends rather than the "hidden" ends available on their flat laces. I would really like to have the round laces with the "hidden" ends. 2) The clear plastic tips used for threading the round laces comes off easily. That makes it doubly difficult to install on Sperry's where the lace goes up around the heel inside a leather channel. If anyone else wants to try this, use a 3" heavy needle to pull the lace through the eyelets. But, it's worth the effort if you never have to tie your Dockers again.

Never tie your shoes again
I bought them because I have some mobility issues that can make tying my own shoes slower/ uncomfortable/ more difficult than I'd prefer. I usually keep my shoelaces loosely laced and double-knotted so I can just step into my shoes, but I wanted a better way.The video demo from the manufacturer's website effectively showed how to add them to shoes. After I paused and rewatched a couple of parts, it was pretty easy to put them on.I had to "install" them twice because I managed to pull one shoelace tip out of the "pull tab." That was annoying, but I fixed it after prying open the pull tab with a flat screwdriver.Because of my mobility issues, I found it easiest to remove my shoes and thread the laces first before adjusting them for fit and comfort while on my feet. If you have a lot of trouble bending or have significant arthritis in your hands, you might need someone to help you install or adjust these laces. The laces have some stretch, but I still find it helpful to use a telescoping shoehorn to put on my shoes.I can't speak to their durability yet, but I am pleased so far and will update if something changes.

Great for golf shoes!
Bought these for my golf shoes. Easy on/off while standing. Stays fit, but can tighten if needed. Bought for my dress shoes too.

Great service
When pulling tight with moderate pressure as you need to do, one lace came out of the plastic end. Very hard to open again to secure the lace. Ended up using a flame to melt the plastic to create a hard seal so the lace would not come out again. Take care when pulling tight, you are better off holding the laces not the plastic end.Update from 2 to 5 stars. 6/4/22 Company posted replacement newer plastic end. Works really well now. Buying another set.

Overall good
Good shoe lacesThe Good- Good quality lace- Good length- Very strong and good level of elasticityThe Bad- Locker is too simple and minimalistic, may damage the lace if you are intended to unlock and lock every timeAnd the Ugly- Nothing specific, no instructions, I had to comeback to amazon page to see the pictures to understand it

Functional lace at best, but poor clip and expensive for what you get
Two stars because whilst the laces function as laces, the so called quick release clips hardly function at all, they are very poor quality. The instructions for deploying the clips are incomprehensible.Lastly, misleading advert pictures. One of the images demonstrates these laces with an On Running Cloud Swift shoe - this shoe really needs flat laces, due to flat eyelets. Now if you crush the ends of the laces with pliers to make them flat, then you can just about thread the lace through the eyelets, but it isn't easy.Yes the lace works to a point, but these are poor quality, and expensive. I wont be buying again.

Pretty good, but the end clip is not strong enough
I really like these (I was one of the original Kickstarter product backers), but have found that the end-clip is not strong enough for day to day use. I've pulled the clip off the end of the laces repeated times, so have no just fallen back to tying them in a simple knot. Not as neat and tidy, but far, far more effective than the plastic clip.

Rubbish !
I have just paid £11.49 for this useless piece of cheap plastic.Don't buy this. It's cheap and nasty and it doesn't do what it's supposed to do.Had it 5 minutes and threw it in the bin.I gave it one star because the system wouldn't let me give it zero stars

Wondering if they work with Timberland’s?
Like a charm! It’s like they were made for them! On and off with ease and as fitting as you’d like them. I now have slip on Timberland’s, the only downside is that now I have to replace the laces in all my Timb’s as that just won’t do!Get the round one’s.
