This ice pack fits well around my small head (comes with an extender strap for larger heads). After being in the freezer 24+ hours it stays cold about an hour. Ice pack is gel type and conforms to curvature of the head straight out of the freezer. Outside cover is washable. I leave the ice pack inside the cover, put in a zip lock bag, and freeze all together; saves time when I need to use it. I plan to buy a second one so I can swap them out during migraine (mine last 2-4 days). It is heavy (wouldn't walk around with it on), but as I have to retreat to a completely dark room and lay down anyway I don't see this as an issue.

I love this hot\cold pack & have been using it almost daily to relieve muscle tension & soreness & found it most effective for neck\shoulders. It is also effective for headache relief but I found it to be heavy to use in upright position so using it while lying down is easier.It holds the heat for longer time than my previous packs.I like the buttons holding the pack in place inside the cover but I wish there was an easier way to place it back into the cover rather than stuffing it in every time.Overall it was a great purchase for me.

I am very happy with the arctic flex headache relief ice pack. First time I used it, it did not feel cold enough. After leaving it in the freezer over night the first time it was great. Also found if I fold each end over it freezes better and fits on my neck better. I use this mostly for my neck. Much better then any other ice pack I used for my neck. Pulse it’s great for my migraines.

Got this to cool down in the heat of summer in Texas, put on back of neck. I used to suffer more frequent headaches/migraines wish I had back then. I used recently on a migraine and it was wonderful. The cover is nice, soft, and velcro adjustable. If not for the cover I wouldn't be able to move around as freely with the cold therapy. Just have to remember to take off when feel better enough to go outside or run an errand lol!

**update** Due to a horrifically long migraine, I've actually had a change of heart on my initial review. While waiting for my husband to print the return label, I decided to use the wrap that had been in the freezer a few days. When this wrap is frozen solid, it lasts for quite a while, like an hour plus. I also do appreciate the compression that other wraps don't deliver. I'll give it credit, that the material does protect your skin from that too cold ice burn feeling, that other wraps fall short on. I have 4 wraps & this one has been pretty nice for those reasons comparatively... but I'll admit I'm still sorely disappointed I didn't get what I thought I had ordered. Unfortunately due to the long migraine & didn't initiate my exchange & I'm definitely kicking myself for that, as now I'm stuck with it. Had I got the black one my friend has, this would be a 5 star rating. However, I am moving it from a 1 star to a 3 star. To Vive or Amazon, please go back to the original design or send the right one, whichever.I'm so disappointed, I had really high hopes for this. A friend of mine has one, I tried it & it flet amazing. The right amount of compression, soft fabric, & ice that wrapped all the way around the head... but her's was black like in the product description. What I got was NOT at all the same. Most importantly, the ice pack only wraps about 2/3rds around your head (but the cooling feels more like 1/2). The material feels like a scratchy foam with bad stitching. I will give it that the ice pack was squishy, but it only stayed cold for less than 15min, probably more like 10min. Leaving me with this heavy, hot, scratchy, uncomfortable thing on my head. Needless to say it doesn't work out for me. I'm so disappointed. I bought this wrap because my friend's wraped all the way around, if their new model is the grey/blue, know it's not nearly as nice as the black one (I saw another pic of the grey/blue, which makes me think it's not a mistake). We won't even go in to how poorly it was shipped.

I have tried many ice packs over the years as a migraine sufferer and this is by far the best. It stays soft and holds its chill. It’s very adaptable and can be used on the front and sides of your head or the back of your head and neck. It’s also usable on your shoulders for tension headaches. I do wish the Velcro closing piece was attached or easier to position because I have a hard time adjusting it sometimes. But I will never go back to a different style ice pack after trying this.

Very large. Good for multiple uses

This product leaked all over my daughter TWICE. We purchased 2 of them because we loved it. Then BOTH leaked some chemical fluid all over. Then they wouldn't take it back because it wasn't within 30 days (it was 70 days or so - not a long time for an expensive product to Leak TWICE). I would NEVER buy from them again.
