SPC Performance 7112B 14" Air Cleaner Recessed Base

Could not find the drop dimensions for this product but ordered it anyway. It appears to have about 1.5 inch drop and it almost cleared my electric choke on my Edelbrock 1406, but did not. You will need to order a 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch spacer to get it to clear the carb. The problem is I need a 1" or less drop. The finish was good on the base, but the carb hole was a bit out of round. Nothing a gasket could not take care of. Overall a decent product, but did not work for my application.

Base hits the choke on Motorcraft 4200 4bbl. Decent quality. Had to buy 1/2" spacer to make it worked.

Had to make a spacer to put between carb neck and bottom of air cleaner base to space it up so it cleared the electric choke on edelbrock carb. It seems to be about 1/4 inch from clearing without the spacer. Worked fine after though.
