if you squirt too much out of the tube, does the opening allow you to put some back in?

If you are wanting to put excess paint back into a paint tube you could try using the tube to syphon the paint back in, but we think that being a little conservative when squeezing paint out would be easier. Does the 48 pack have 48 different colors or simply 2 of each color?

The set contains all different colors of paint. There are no duplicates.

I suggest you ask the manufacturer. The tubes don't mention toxicity.

A1 quality. The best cheap paints I have tried

When I decided to learn painting I bought a few different sets like coloured inks, gouache, etc. This Mont Marte set with 48 colours is by far the best value for money. Much better than any other inexpensive paints and I've tried quite a few. They mix well with professional paints and most of the time I barely notice any difference. Highly recommended.

Nice set of paints. Good creamy consistency and generally good coverage. I just docked a star because, in my humble opinion, they’re too matte and not quite as nice to use as the Meeden ones. I’m sure there’s a lot of personal preference involved though and I did like these. 😊
