Lucky Brand Women's Basel Ankle Bootie

My feet are truly wide, and the wide 9.5s fit perfectly! It’s very hard to find even wide-sized shoes that fit my feet, and these did immediately. I ordered my normal size. Very comfortable, and cute.

I was so skeptical about ordering a pair of ankle boots for a few reasons. So many are listed as genuine leather but then as you read the description it says genuine man made faux leather. Makes it so hard to make a good decision when you have to research so closely. Also when you read the reviews many times they do not match the product at all. Then there are those who have some terrible unbelievable reviews and some are nearly perfect. I know people have a lot of different tastes and expectations but can’t we just give a honest straightforward review. I went ahead and ordered the boots based on the fact I had purchased a pair of Lucky Brand boots a few years ago and have been very happy with them. I’m glad I did. I like my new black ankle boots pretty good. They are very similar to my original pair except the color and 2 zippers. I hope they will be as comfortable as my first pair. Time will tell. Cute real leather boots for the price. I got the wide in case I want to wear heavy socks or tights. One thing I find to be a negative is the different prices by size. That’s just ridiculous! Brick and mortar stores don’t do that. In fact no one does except sellers on Amazon.

This is my second pair of the Lucky Women's Basel Boot. My first pair was purchased from the brick & mortar Lucky Brand store last Thanksgiving weekend. I absolutely fell in LOVE with that first pair in the Toffee color. My only complaint was that it was a little tight across the ball of my feet but that was easily remedied by taking them to my local shoe repair and having them stretched. Once I did that they were perfect! So perfect in fact that when I saw them here on Amazon I jumped at the chance for another pair, this time in the Italian Olive suede. This pair was perfect right out of the box with no need for stretching which I attributed to the material being suede and softer by nature. And the rubber sole means no slippery break-in time - they feel like sneakers! I've worn them about a half dozen times now (one day walking all over downtown) and they are amazingly comfy and supportive as is the first pair in Toffee. They have the perfect heel height for comfort AND style. I've worn both pairs with skinny jeans, skirts and dresses and I get compliments every time. My only note about sizing is that I usually wear a 7 in closed toe shoes but found the 7 to be a bit too big so sized down to a 6.5 which fits like a glove. My feet are narrow so I'm not sure how gals with wider feet would do in these boots especially given that I needed the first pair stretched a bit, but I refuse to wear shoes that are even a tiny bit uncomfortable so maybe those that don't have that as a priority won't mind a little snug-ness around the balls of the feet. I've read that some who bought these boots felt they haven't held up well, especially when worn in wet weather. This has not been my experience. In fact I just wore the Olive suede ones many days in a row and as I mentioned above walking all over downtown one day and they still look gorgeous and brand new. We've had a ton of rain lately, but I did not wear them in the wet weather because I didn't want them to get wrecked as is my habit whenever it gets rainy. I generally wear rain boots or water proofed UGGS when it rains so I don't ruin my nicer shoes, but that's easy for me since I live in SoCal and we have long dry spells between wet weather. Hope this review helps those who are considering these awesome boots. My advice: BUY THEM! For this price they are fantastic! I may actually get a third pair! ;-)

These are really cute! Super soft leather. Well made, zippers look like they’ll last. They run a little big IMO. I left off a star since the photos don’t full show how perforated they are.

I got the Toffee and the color is a beautiful Saddle tone--Leather is real nice--I usually take a 7M in a dress shoe--but in boots always get them larger for winter socks and a 7 1/2 W was perfect and not cramped in the toe area--It has nice zippers on both sides of the boots and I feel for the price there a really good buy as I found them very comfortable with a nice size heel and a pretty good non slip sole of a rubber type product--that doesn't have a lot of big grooves to collect gravel and mud to track inside--as we do live out in the country

I bought these black leather booties after wanting them for sooooo long. I finally gave myself permission to buy them. My experience is this. First, I bought a half size too big because I kept reading that they fit small. They do not fit small and the ones I ordered are gigantic. Second, the leather is beautiful and buttery soft, but this means it scuffs and scratches from almost nothing. It's also quite thin. So it's not supportive and doesn't hold it's shape.Mine arrived with a scuff across the top of the foot. It's not significant, but it's there. Third, both outsoles have wear on them. It almost looks as though it could be intentional, but I dont see it in photos of new pairs and I've read a lot of reviews that say the soles wear very quickly. I bought these ones in "like new" condition through Amazon resale. I want so badly to love them, but I dont think I'll be ordering another pair in the right size unfortunately. The hunt is back on for the perfect pair!

I wore it with a skirt that had the same pattern and color as did the shoe. everyone on my job really liked my shoe!

These are nice ankle boots and very soft luxurious leather, no breaking in needed. The heel is a perfect height for casual wear and looks very smart with almost anything. I have several pairs of these in different colors, and paid a bit more at the department stores. They came in the original Lucky Brand box in perfect condition. I took one star off as the coloring on the rubber heel was chipping off. I used some shoe dye to cover the area, it took several layers of dye. I love the fit and comfort of these, and the exquisite quality of the leather. If you like comfort and style, you will love these.

Solo por favor cerciórense de la talla, viene más grande de la talla habitual por ejemplo si eres 6.5 pide 5.5, yo las regresé por esa razón pero está súper lindas
