Comfortable, doesn't look too strange under a shirt
I wear this everyday at work (it lives next to my desk). I write software for a living, and I've been using a standing desk for the past couple of years, so I decided to add a bit of weight to (1) help strengthen my ankle, and (2) build some extra muscle because why not. I've damaged my ankles a few times over the years, and my left ankle has been especially weak after an injury a few years ago. When I started wearing this, my left ankle felt a bit achy everyday. Now, about half a year later, my ankle doesn't complain at all (it feels better than it has in years) and I feel naked at work if I'm not wearing it.The weights are hefty metal nuggets that can be easily slid into and out of the pockets on the front and back of the vest.Warning: this did cause a bomb scare at the office. I work in an office building shared by a dozen or so small businesses, and I *used* to wear this above my normal clothes. One day, a guy from the office across the building from us came over and warned our office manager that a terrorist with a suicide vest had been seen entering our part of the building. He had already prepped his people for evacuation and was about to call the police. We talked him down and I showed him the vest, but ever since that day, I've worn it under another shirt. It looks kinda strange, but there have been no further bomb threats. And look, with the police these days mistaking things like a cell phone for a gun and using lethal force, I don't want to find out how easily they'll mistake a commercial weighted vest for a suicide vest. The company has some videos for how to properly wear the vest. Watch them; it takes like 5 minutes. It's all common-sense stuff, but it's good to see the correct, safe way to handle the vest and prevent injury. It fits comfortably. I have only used it for walking (a few miles per day), but it can be tightened as much as you want, so it would probably be good for running, too. I like the wide shoulder straps for the 8 hours per day that I wear it.

Outstanding weight vest
I have really enjoyed having this 40 lb. weight vest as part of my near-daily walking routine; and consequently, have felt stronger overall. I walk 3.5 to 4.5 miles at least 4 to 5 times a week, and wearing this additional 40 lbs. truly adds to my payload, which translates into a good sweat. It took a couple of outings before the additional weight on the shoulders wasn't as noticeable as the first day out, but now I feel it's a vital part of my walking exercise; and strangely enough, I look forward to hefting it over my head to strap it on with every walk.I keep mine stored in a heavy-duty tote bag after drying it out after my walks. Another important point, is that the shoes you wear when wearing this 40 lb. V-Force weight vest needs to be of a good quality with solid foot support. Wearing a lesser quality of shoe while walking in this vest is a bad idea, as hot-spots or blisters could develop. After using the vest for over two weeks, I know which shoes are okay and which shoes are not. This is a solidly built weight vest and I got what I paid for: a great piece of exercise equipment that should give me many years of use. If you're looking to buy a weight vest, and maybe the price of the V-Force is a little higher than other weight vests available; remember, in this case it's worth every penny and a solid investment in your health. Don't hesitate. Buy it now.

Excellent vest and AMAZING shipping time!
I purchased this vest about 6 months ago in preparation/training for several obstacle course races. This product was not a "prime" purchase so I thought I wouldn't receive it for at least several weeks. Seeing as this weighs 40+lbs I could understand it taking a bit of time to arrive. So when the delivery arrived just a few days after I placed the order I was shocked and very impressed. As far as the quality of the product; it is very well constructed and rugged. I have worn this at the gym but also worn it on outdoor hikes and it has held up with zero problems. This is not the first weighted vest I have tried and while the others came loose during training this one has never come undone. It stays in place perfectly every time I use it.Lastly, it looks wicked cool and I always get compliments on when I wear it. Almost every time I have it on I hear someone say "Dude! Where did you get that??" I guess the only down side (the multi-cam pattern doesn't help) is that my daughter thinks I look like a suicide bomber...I would highly recommend spending a few extra dollars on a quality product that is going to last forever, looks very cool and be a great training tool.

Extremely high quality, very ergonomic, perfect for exercise
This weight vest was exactly what I've been looking for - ruggedly built (similar construction to a plate carrier, great stitching), modular weight configuration on both the front and back sides, and very easy to take on and off.Shoulder padding is excellent, allowing the load to be more evenly distributed (important when wearing for long periods). Also the velcro cummerbund allows full adjustment, meaning you can wear this thing during a range of exercises with no movement!

It fits me comfortably (5'10", 180lb
I've only had this for a week, but it does appear to be very well made and durable. It fits me comfortably (5'10", 180lb, male) and its fairly convenient to add/drop weight as you change exercises. I have used it during my push-up routine and while you can definitely feel it in your arms and shoulders, I was surprised how much I felt it in my abs as they were stabilizing for the additional weight. I can't wait to use it in conjunction with my pull-up bar.

Best vest available
Love this vest. I've trained with many different kinds/styles and this is by far my favorite. I'm 6ft tall 200 lbs and it fits great. Holds secure on my chest while doing complex exercises, never worried about it coming off. Doesn't bounce every stride like cheaper ones. I recommend starting with 15-20 lbs for beginners, then adding a few weights each week to work your way up.

Very tight and comfortable feel.
It fits super comfortable, is well made and strong. The adjustable chest strap works very well and the ability to remove or add weights is super convenient. Ive used it for pull ups, chin ups, hand stands and various other exercises. Best for the buck.
