URIEL Bunion Hallux Valgus Nighttime Splint - Right

I've got the beginnings of a hallux valgus, so I'm really hoping this splint prevents its progression. It feels ok around my toe, but Im very surprised by the short length of the strap. Now, by women's standards, I concede that I've got Fred Flintstone feet at a size 9, sometimes 9.5, but considering this item is a one size fits all splint, there's no way a guy with average to large feet will be able to use this device right out of the package. Fortunately, my techy husband keeps a stash of velcro around the house, rendering the item usable.

This splint didn't work for me at all. I've tried it awake and in bed (with a sock over it as instructed). I've gotten better results from Yoga Toes than from this. The splint part is also a bit too long so that when the velcro is tightened to make the big toe angle out more, the bottom of the splint digs into the second toe which causes a lot of pain. Maybe if the splint were shorter instead of going all the way down to the bottom of the big toe, this could be worn without pain. As it is, it's a waste of money for me.
