How does this work ? Magic?
So I ordered this after watching a YouTube video of professional car cleaners using it for pet hair. I thought I’d use it for my new house as the carpet on the stairs is like a magnet for pet hair. My stain couldn’t get it out. Well this certainly did. So easy. A few strokes over the carpet and I had a giant ball of hair and a clean stair. Great product. For note I tried to use it on my dog as a grooming brush which I understood is it’s actual purpose and it didn’t do a dam thing. Maybe I’m missing something. Not to matter though it did what I wanted 100%

It actually works!
Wow I didn't believe it when the groomer said buy a rock to de shed the dog (poodle/beagle) but it's amazing! Would defo recommend. Even used on my cats.... (Darker photo is the cat and lighter photo is the dog)

Doesn’t do what it says on the tin !!!
I have found that these grooming stones don’t do what they say they do. Absolutely rubbish. I have thrown them away, and ordered different ones.

Works great, but some things you need to know
Stone works as advertised, but a couple of things you need to be aware of. If you use this on cloth auto upholstery, if you drag it crosswise take the stone away from the fabric and clean it immediately. Drag it lengthwise across the fabric, not crosswise, and every couple of strokes clean the stone. The hair bunches up on the stone and if you drag is crosswise you end up reapplying the hair in a clot. I use a stiff hairbrush to clean it. Also you have the issue of static electricity. Bunches of hair pulled off leap back on to the fabric and you have to start over. By pulling it lengthwise and then cleaning the stone you eliminate that to some extent.Another method is to use it crosswise on horizontal surfaces and basically rake the hairs into a row and collect it, then clean the stone.

Works great!
This grooming stone works great for my horse when she's shedding her winter coat and easily removes hair from saddle pads. Glad I purchased it. Nice size - easy to work with.

Love it
We loved this product the second it came out of the box. It works as it says it will. Dog hair out of carpet in the car and we even “brush” our dog with it.

Works on more that pet hair
Those hard to get tiny lint balls on certain clothes, jackets or on your mattress disappear within seconds

"OK" Product But Not The Best (Pet Hair Removal From Cars)
This Colorado Groomer's Pet Hair And Fur Remover does a pretty good job but just like the Farnam Slick'N Easy Horse Grooming Block it disintegrates during use, resulting in tiny sand-like pieces of the stone dropping wherever you removed the dog hair. The Farnum product also seems to not leave as much residue as the Colorado product and only costs 1/3 of the Colorado unit. However the Colorado stone is larger and easier to grip. Our favorite pet hair remover is the Lilly Brush Mini Pet Hair Detailer Dog Hair Remover. This item retails for $12.00 and does the best job of removing dog hair from our vehicles' carpets. Not only that but it leaves no residue and doesn't break down over time. The only problem we've found with it is that the small size requires a long time to adequately clean the carpet. Our solution to the small size was cured by ordering the Mighty Pet Hair Detailer (without the handle) for $24.00. There is no need for a handle when cleaning the pet hair out of your car but if you need to it is easy to find a handle locally that will work with it. The difference is that the Mighty Pet Hair detailer has about three times the cleaning surface as the Mini unit, allowing you to cover that much more space with each motion. Problem solved!
