Absurdly small bulbs for old things and small things.
Used to replace the 5 burned-out bulbs on a Kenwood TS-700SP. Would have been impossible if these didn't come with the resoldered leads on them.Puts off a warm glow as I would imagine they did in the late 1970's when this radio was new.73!

Ok for landscapes, house, buildings, not rolling stock.
These are a decent value but very fine wire to work with. Looks great w/ soft glow at 10-12 VDC. At the lower variable voltages, 4-8 volts, of trains on the move, the lamps are too dull for headlights & coaches.

Just what I needed
Going work perfect

Nice warm glow! Perfect for models
I purchased these to go in my G Scale garden railway Woolen mill model that I built. These bulbs are just great. The wire is really small and fit into the lamps I made from Upholstery buttons and rivets. I tried LEDs, but they were too harsh for the 1800s look I was going for.

Just the thing
I use these lights to illuminate the buildings in an N scale railroad layout.I've used LEDs before but they don't have the warmth of incandescent bulbs like these.I can't speak for their longevity as yet, but tests have shown that they can handle up to fifteen volts with no problems, so they should last awhile at twelve volts.
