After the first day my zebra finches stopped laying eggs. I bought them so my hens could take a break from constantly laying eggs. They are very similar to real eggs. Maybe just a tiny bit smaller but not enough so they can tell the difference. Great product.

I have a pair of zebra finches who are determined to nest even though there is no nest or nesting materials in their flight cage. The hen drops an egg from the perch or while setting on the bottom of the cage about every other day. I bought these in hope she'll decide to sit on these and eventually get bored. The pair is showing interest in the fake eggs, but after about a week the hen is still dropping eggs. The fake eggs are perfect size and shape so I still have hope this will work.

Originally got these to prevent canary from overlaying but I tried to see if it would work for doves too. Even though they’re a third of the size of her eggs the dove nudged it under her. So I’m 200% satisfied. This product hit two birds with one stone, if these reviews are allowed to contain bird puns.
