I replaced a 45" shoelace with 36" of cord. These are walking around shoes, so after pulling them on, I don't tighten them. The tension is loose enough to slip the shoes on but snug enough for them to stay securely on my feet (secure enough to run and catch up to someone) The locks work well, though admittedly, I'm not putting much strain on them.

I use these for drawstrings on wristlets I make. I have ordered several times. Great price, great quality

I needed it for drawstring bags that I made and it seems to work out well. the only thing to watch out for is that the ends of the stretchy cord frey easily, and so you just have to make sure to tape off or wrap the ends. Easy to use and packaged well.

I bought these for an unadvertised use. I needed something to make my grow light panels slightly adjustable, but mostly just to help to suspend them. They are working great for my intended use! Not a single problem with the cord or stoppers. Now mind you, the panels only weigh about 2.2 lbs, but the cord was cut to the lengths I wanted and gave sufficient stretch without overstretch. The stoppers have not failed and were easy to use. The panels have been hanging for over a month and everything has remained the same. I have rotated the lights, but have not needed to adjust the angle or height yet, so only time will tell if things remain well suited and “safe”. I still have a lot of the cord left for future needs. I have put all of the extra stoppers on shorts and yoga pants during wash to keep the strings from pulling out in the washer/dryer. They work great for round laces and smaller flat laces, but not for the bigger flatter laces, the opening is too small to feed the cord through. Some have been washed and dried a few times and so far are holding up great! No signs of spring rust! I would recommend this product for its intended use and for some other applications, light ones anyway. Love this as a quick problem solver! Inexpensive kit and works really well. Would be really outstanding if the fasteners were a little wider but still worth the money.

My Grand son's pants & shorts kept falling down. (Not like all the way, just slipping down so he was tugging on them all the time) replaced the draw strings with this. Now it holds up his pants, is adjustable and he doesn't fidget all of the time ....win, win

The cord slips too easy. Not good for a drawstring for pants.

I recently got a backpack that didn't come with the stretch string, so this kit was exactly what I needed. You get a lot of string and a bunch of toggle stoppers. Just cut to size and use a flame at the ends to prevent fraying. Perfect.

The bungee cord is thinner than expected. Not sure it will be suitable enough to hold the tensile loads to hold some things together. Unfortunately its just string so I can’t return it.
