Sensativity to distance stations not so good
I bought this to directly compare with my C Crane 3 band radio. Thought if it delivered as promised I'd return the much more costly C Crane radio. Last evening snow started falling & the AM station I desire to listen to 770 KVI is 50 miles away. MiFine was barely able to capture any signal & full of static. C Crane likewise was having difficulties bringing in the signal but I could hear what was being said on the AM station. All in All.. For the money, if all you want are 2 bandsAM & FM & are needing to pick up near by stations, I'd say go with MiFine but pug it into a USB plug or it will be eating expensive AAA batteries. That said.. if you need to pick up distance stations & desire AM, FM along with Weather stations, go with the 3.5x costlier C Crane CC Pocket radio which used beefier and cheaper AA batteries. As for me, I will keep both radios as it just is not worth the price to return this MiFine radio.. BTW.. this is the MiFine with the rounded top & bottom. I did check BOTH radios to see if quick battery change out loses settings or not.. both kept the settings just fine as long as batteries changed out in 10 seconds. The MiFine has a lot of features but I'd need the booklet or I'd get lost.. The C Crane Pocket radio has fewer station saves 29 verses 5 but is far simpler to navigate w/o instruction booklet.

NOT A GOOD CHOICE IN THE MOUNTAINS
Bought this for an emergency radio in the country and it can hardly pull in ANY stations. If you have great reception it's probably o.k.

A sweet Little pocket portable radio
This small radio came with batteries, fits in the glove box and has good reception in the two areas I have tried it. I like it has a jack for headphone or earbuds and that it will work as a clock and alarm too. Not cumbersome when in your pocket like the metal antennas. And it works! Overall, very pleased with this sweetheart. Got one for my wife too and she loves it. If I were to accidentally break this one, I'd immediately order another at the full price.

Worked great
Used it overseas to listen to a Croation Mass interpreted to English. The earbuds were not as comfortable as my own personal ones, so did not use the ones that came with the radio. Great little radio in a compact size. Easy to pack and use.
