Since my hubby sleeps with an apnea machine, I cannot have dogs in our bed. I have a collection of stuffed animals representing all our dogs and their breed. My heart of hearts is this merle Aussie in the photo. He's 4 and has accomplished much with me training wise, but mostly is just my best friend and loved by everyone who meets him. I was looking for a gift for a young child and came across this AMAZINGLY stunning stuffed Aussie. It is absolutely gorgeous in every way and well worth it's price. It is so life like my dog who's crate is by my side of the bed gets jealous if I baby talk to this one..poor guy. The fur is very real looking and feeling,all colors bright, authentic and vivid as in the picture !! He is also extremely cuddly soft which was a welcome surprise. I can't imagine any Aussie lover of stuffed animals not loving this one. His size is accurate as described. I did do a little trimming around the eyes so I could see them better, and you can fluff the fur around however you like. I snuggle this one while reading in bed at night right after my dog goes to sleep. I had an ACL knee surgery a year ago and had to sleep in our guest room for three months, and my dog lived with me in bed. Never left my side except to go potty. Among many things, he is therapy certified, so also went to rehab with me 3x a week.. The very best bed buddy and friend ever. Soooo, when he spots this stuffed one IN MY BED, really he is alert and not happy. Why i wait until he falls asleep to snuggle with this stuffed one. He's awesome in every way, just like my dog. If there were 6 stars, I'd give them :)

This is definitely worth it! I really wanted an aussie plushie and as soon as I saw this one, I knew I had to buy it. 64 dollars does seem like a lot, but trust me its 100% worth the money. Its fur is long and very realistic. Keep in mind it will have to be brushed or it can get a little scruffy. Its little face is superr cute! I named mine Calypso and I just love him so much. He is very light weight and easy to carry around. He is very huggable and cute. His ears are lined with minky so they are very soft. This plushie is great for any collectors. Okay, yes this one is expensive, but I got this for me ! I lost one of my Aussie's and losing another and I got them to remember them by. The fur is perfect on here and the pup looks so real.. I actually named the.. I am not crazy ( I don't think). If you give in, you will not regret !!

Shipping was fast and the plush looks just like the pictures. It’s beautiful pattern, carful stitching and long fur are all great qualities. After owning it for a couple weeks(and snuggling it at bedtime), the long fur can get a little tangled, but a quick brush gets it looking good as gold again!I highly recommend this for gifts or personal collection. I absolutely adore this plush!

I don't typically take the time to write reviews, but I am exceedingly happy with this plush. This wasn't an easy decision to make ($60 for a stuffed animal is a lot, but in the end the sentimental reasons I wanted this dog won out, so I took the gamble), but I am very happy. She's big (about as big as my maine coon cat-- the size listed is accurate) and soft, very easy to hug-- not stuffed extremely firm like a display stuffed animal. You might need to give yours a good brushing to straighten out the fur, and I've pulled just a couple snaggly wefts out here and there, but aside from that, she's really perfect (she does shed a bit, though, so be ready for some hair to come off on you at first).
