Arrived well packaged and on time. Assembly was quick and easy. It works like a charm for its intended purpose.

I had the earlier version of this which didn’t have drilled holes for the brackets but instead used brackets with rubber inserts that were supposed to hold the brackets against the glass through changes of temperature and , I don’t know , the movement of the earth on its axis. Instead the brackets fell down, the glass wasn’t held in place, and in a medium strength wind, the glass actually blew off the fireplace and broke. It was some stupid cheap CAD-CAM engineering solution based on no actual reality.This new version which acknowledges that an actual hole for the screws bracing the brackets is ACTUALLY needed in a real world setting of weather and movement- which should have been the first version- is the best version. It’s beautiful and strong. I love it!! It’s a dream come true.

Arrived very well packaged and not damaged. All parts/pieces were there and in perfect condition. Mine arrived with no instructions, but it's fairly self-explanatory and just needs a phillips screw driver and a small pliers or adjustable wrench (or 8mm or 5/16" socket) to tighten. If desired, it can be assembled remotely and then carried to your fire pit. I wouldn't want to turn the fully assembled ring on its side and if you choose to assemble anywhere other than on you fire pit I would recommend 2 people to move it. I also recommend assembling it loosely until you put it on your fire pit to take advantage of its ability to adjust at each joint (my 33" had 5 glass pieces) to match any inconsistencies in your fire pits surface. Nice product, WORK WONDERS for mitigating breezes and keeping the flames going up and burning hot. Wish I'd bought one of these for my fire-pit table years and years ago!

Glass must be very challenging to ship, and this came smartly packaged in 4 pieces that are easy to assemble. I have a relatively small outdoor lounging area, so got a smaller fire-pit which also has smaller area on which to set glasses, etc., so this wind-guard allows me to set my wine glass (or whatever) on the edge without fear of flame burning me/it.

It’s not perfect craftsmanship but it looks very good and does the job well. Our fire pit is even prettier with the glass around it.

The unit works fine on the fire pit, once it is assembled. Two 'extra' sets of hands were instrumental in the assembly of this item. It is also very helpful to have some shims handy to hold up the panels as they are assembled and the screws are tightened. Note that there are absolutely no instructions included. Instructions are not really necessary as it is pretty obvious how to assemble it, but some guidance, as listed above, would have been good up front (extra hands, shims, etc). After assembly, it is a good idea to transport the assembled unit on a large, flat surface, such as a plywood panel.

Loved this heavy, well made firepit surround. On the 5th month, however, we have to trash it. Unfortunately, it spontaneously shattered overnite, despite being on a covered porch. Have not used the firepit since last Fall, so heat vs cold was not the issue.

The media could not be loaded. Fit perfectly on my round stainless steel fire pit system for my project.
