I was skeptical at first when I got this based on the varied reviews. I have to say I was quite shocked. I have been using this hub 24/7 for the last few months now and I am very impressed. It works as advertised providing multiple USB 3 Type A ports along with Ethernet and HDMI. The passthrough power works great as well. I will confirm that it can get a little warm at times especially when it's used to transfer lots of data using multiple usb ports at the same time. However, this does not get so hot that it cannot be handled or otherwise unexpected. The attached USB C connection cable is a little short but for a compact hub it's nice that you don't have to fuss with finding a loose cable. Overall I would consider this unit a great buy.

I ordered this for my cousin on his account. The device works very well. The 4k, HDMI, and VGA connections all worked like a charm. He was able to play 4k games and stream movies in 4k to his monitor. We really enjoyed the fact that the usb-c connector will actually fold up into the device to protect it while it's not being used. That was a very good design. The unit is sleek, comes in a great box with awesome packaging. It looks like a very expensive gift upon them opening it. The only issue experienced is the ethernet cable was dropping connection at times due to the port. He exchanged it without hassle with the company and was given a new one. He has had 0 issues thus far.

My previous USB C adapter worked straight off of the USB C port on my laptop. Even when the USB C power lead was plugged into the laptop itself. This adapter requires that the USB C power lead be plugged into it. I could not get my USB mouse or my ethernet adapter to work unless I was using the USB C port on the adapter for my power lead. The indicator light on the UPVICH hub kept flickering until I did that.

I bought the 7 in 1 USB C HUB, because I had to connect more and more stuff with my laptop (Bluetooth mouse, Ethernet, HDMI cable, etc.). I can now connect a lot more things than before - very handy. When unpacking the usb c hub has made a very high-quality impression. The port statements are all very well made and everything fits together perfectly. Just plug it into the PC and off you go.I am very satisfied and give full 5 stars for this productMy conclusion:-High quality-Fast data transmission-Price performance is right

Worked great for 1 week and then completly died on me. Waste of money. I need to send it back, thanks for the reminder amazon review email.

It's compatible with my new Lenovo and has all the portals I need, usb 3.0, VGA, HDMI, Ethernet, and charging. I used to have one but without VGA but my monitor is quite old and only has VGA. And this one is more stable than my previous one. Sometimes my previous hub couldn't recognize my flash drive but same situation never happened to this new one. Even though the price is a little bit high but it's worthy.

Why this doesn't come with a power supply is puzzling but I had an extra USB-C power supply from my cell phone that I'm using for it. I got this product because I have an older monitor that has a VGA cable. None of the other products seemed to provide this input. It has plenty of other inputs for everything else I need to work from home. So, in the end it seems to be a pretty good product for the short amount of time I've used it.
