Catskill Craftsmen Adjustable Wood Over-the-Sink Cutting Board, One Size

Fits my sink perfectly. I have almost no counter space in my studio apartment, and this helps quite a bit. If you don't oil it, it will warp. (Found out first hand. I flipped it over, and soaked the other side with water, and it straightened out.) Cutting board oil is a must, and it's inexpensive & easy to apply. No problems since I oiled it. If you want something that you don't want to oil, or throw in a dishwasher, I'd suggest that you find something plastic.

This is a good quality, solid wood piece. Mine arrived with no cracking, chipping, blemishes, etc. The grain and color of the wood are lovely. The wire on the ends is adjustable, so it fits my sink perfectly. I read some of the other reviews about warping so right out of the box I oiled it with food grade butcher block oil (big bottle for less than $10 at my local hardware store) to condition it. Water got on it and beaded right up so I think that should prevent any warping.

I broke the one I got from my Mom...so purchased this to replace it. It's beautiful and the "made in America" is an added bonus!

It's a hair too big, like a 1/4 inch, to properly fit my sink. Will probably remove one handle, cut it down to size, redrill the holes and reattach the wire handle. Had another one similar to it for over 25 years until it broke and even epoxy wouldn't keep it together. This one is also slightly thinner.Am somewhat disappointed.

After losing my over the sink cutting board 20 years ago, I am THRILLED to finally have found a replacement! I LOVE IT!!

I previously had an over-the-counter cutting board that had lasted for over a decade until the end of its very useful life. I searched and searched for something similar when I finally, happily, landed on this item from Catskill Craftsmen. It was delivered to me on January 29th, but I couldn’t start using it until after I got back from a trip exactly one month ago, on February 7th. A picture is worth a thousand words, but I can’t upload this sad, sad photo. I have had ONE month of *minimal* usage with this, but it now has FOUR splits in the wood. How can Catskill Craftsman justify such shoddy work with such cheap materials? It makes me so sad. My grandfather was a proud craftsman and I learned from him a devotion and a commitment to excellence. You won’t find that here. Again, my previous board lasted for over a decade. I used this one once or twice a week and yet it didn’t last a month.

This chopping board is really great because it fits over my sink and is easy to clean . The product is exactly as pictured and met all of my expectations. The wood grain and color is really nice.Will definitely buy it again when this one needs to be replaced.

I was hoping it would be as good as the one I had years ago, but it’s far better and also beautifully crafted. The support rods on each do come out so you can reverse the cutting surface and thus, use both sides. I’m really happy to have found it.
