Warning. NOT FOR GIVING PILLS!!!
Warning to others, please read instructions carefully. I used this to give a pill to my cat thinking it was the same as other ones I have used for years. However the plastic tip also shot off right down his throat along with the pill. A vet trip later where he threw it up and he’s fine again. But this could have ended differently. This is only really suitable for slowly feeding liquid with. And to be fair it does say that on the packet, but not the description here. If you push the plunger too fast you risk the end being swallowed by your pet too. The bit about it being suitable for pills needs to be removed from the advert for this item to avoid others doing the same thing I did. Please be careful and DO NOT get this if you want to use it for giving your pet solid pills.

Swallowing hazard
The first tip split on the first day I got this but it seemed to be doing the job well enough and making it much easier for me to give my cat his pill. I switched to the second tip once the first became unusable and this didn't split but the pill was held quite tightly however it was still working fine so I continued to use it.When I last used it there was a popping sound as pressure built up behind the pill, I got my cat to swallow the pill then realised the rubber tip was missing. It had popped off with the pill and he had swallowed it. One trip to the emergency vet later and I'm not waiting for him to pass it.Be extremely careful if you use this product for pills, make sure the pill isn't held too tightly.

Not for pills or tablets??
This is clearly for liquid and not pills? Not sure why I’ve even been sent this seeing as the name of the product states it’s used for capsules and tablets. Don’t buy if you’re looking to make giving pet a tablet easier, as it’s a waste of your money and can only be used for liquids. I doubt how effective it would even be for that.I’d return it but it’s not even worth the postage money.

Its perfect for pills! I dont understand others reviews
After fully inserting the rubber part that holds the pill (which wasn't easy), the one with cut (so it could extend to gently hold the pill)on the syringe part it holds well and I have no idea how it could fall apart while giving a pill for others. Its actually second device of this type I bought as Ive had to give my cat flea pills and couldnt find the previous one that was a little different but as good as this one. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. If you are afraid that this may fall apart while giving the pill just glue it up. Remember to cut your cats nails first if they hate getting pills

Works better than alternatives
I had a similar set of these, but it would hold the tablet between some clips, however in the battle with my cat, invariably the tablet would get wet and crumble, resulting in 1:0 to the cat. This gadget is better because the tablet is held inside a silicone sleeve, so I can still battle with getting this past the cats gritted teeth and the tablet is fine. This was the first time I’ve been able to successfully deliver a worming tablet to this difficult cat.

Does not work
I purchased this as my dog has numerous tablets morning and night and her cheese consumption was getting expensive. I don't know whether I was doing it wrong but no matter whether it was a whole tablet, half tablet or slippery capsule , they all stayed in the popper and the dog was left with me lurching forward towards her . Thank goodness it was so cheap as it certainly didn't work for me or my furbaby.

NOT FOR PILLS!!
wish i had read this before but was in a rush and saw reviews. i got it and really wasn't sure yes we tried it and thank god the teet did not come off. we were very lucky i usually read reviews, but saying it's a pill popper is dangerous as you can see. even as a feeder i have seen some pretty serious reviews of the teat splitting.

Useful product
Does what it says makes it easier to give my cat pills. Two tips one is notched which can be used with capsules or larger tablets, the other tip useful for smaller tablets or half tablets. Have to make sure plunger is set on middle before using otherwise can miss smaller pills.
