The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
The Good: This is a great price for a backlit keyboard and mouse combo. I like how they added a key specifically for the lighting rather than simply piggybacking on the Scroll Lock key like some manufacturers are doing. The Bad: You get what you pay for. The keys do not have a natural feel. While it's a better feel than the Chicklet keyboards, It does not come close to mechanical quality. Again...you get what you pay for.The Ugly: There is no ugly. It's a good looking keyboard and mouse combo. I just added 'the ugly' to round out the title of the review.

The keyboard itself is very nice quality, the keys are nice and "clacky clacky" and the different backlight options are great. The not great: The logo at the top of the keyboard glows a bright blue and doesn't change color with the rest of the keys, which will clash if you're going for a certain color scheme. LUCKILY, the color scheme I'm going for is blue, so this isn't a major issue but it would be if I was going to change it to something else.Likewise, while the keyboard changes color, the mouse does not and only glows blue. In my opinion, this defeats the purpose of having a bundled keyboard and mouse with selectable colors on the keyboard because then your lighting scheme with clash. Again, this didn't matter to me because blue is what I was going for, but for anyone else out there who wants to have a true RGB setup with different color options, you're out of luck.As far as the build quality and functionality goes though, these are pretty spot-on for a budget mouse-keyboard combo. The key spacing on the keyboard is very standard and easy to type on. A good starter keyboard and mouse if you need to pick something up on a budget and aren't worried about the colors.

Great upgrade and great price
I bought an iBuyPower gaming PC (then beefed it up a bit), and the keyboard that came with it was just so loud (when pressing keys). It feels cheaply made. The iBuyPower mouse was just OK. I bought this EagleTek K005 keyboard and mouse combo, and I'm quite glad I did. I can now see the keys when the light gets low (in one of several colors), and it is more quiet. The buttons have a quality feel, plus it is spillproof...which is great cuz I have 2 teenagers that use the PC at times. The mouse is a decent step up from what I was using too. Fits nicely in the hand and works as it should. I highly recommend this product, and you can't beat the price. Excellent bang for the buck.

Great mouse; keyboard too if it works
Bought this combo a couple of years ago and it worked great until I spilled a glass of tea on the keyboard; no match for it ;) Ordered another one and was disappointed to find the keyboard did not work out of the box. The logo was lit but the key back light would not come on and keys did not register when typing anything. That seems to be where most of the lower ratings come from (keyboard problems appear to be hit or miss). No big deal though, contacted Amazon and they emailed a return label and credited my account for the purchase price. Ordered another one and it has been great! Still using the original mouse. One thing mentioned by others is the logo at the top IS a bit too bright but not so much that it is worth passing up a very good ~$20 combo

Totally Functional Keyboard. Nothing Special About It. Worth the Buy.
It feels a little weird honestly. It's not an excellent keyboard, just one that works.Biggest problem is the light doesn't stay the color you left it at after shutting down and it's very easy to accidentally hit the button to change it and have to cycle back to your favorite color. The light looks great on all the keys except the larger buttons where you can clearly see where the light is coming from underneath. You can turn the light off if you want, but then it's a bit harder to see the keys.A nice little feature is the mouse has a button that changes sensitivity and the light on the mouse is different for each speed. From slow to fast, the pattern goes Red > Blue > Green > Purple. Kind of a shame if you wanted to just change the mouse colors, though. Fits nicely in the hand.

What a waste of time
Really...? So the product arrived unopened (from what I could tell anyway, there was brown tape sealing the package, it looked clean) and the F11 key was missing from the keyboard.... It wasn't even in the bag or the box, it's just not here... Also, the illuminated Eagletec Design thing at the top-center of the keyboard snaps on and off apparently, and that piece was not only off and in the bag but one of the clips that holds it into place was broken off.. What a waste of time. The mouse is really nice, its comfortable, smooth and seems to work really well... Plus it looks cool. I don't like the keyboard though (even if it had all the keys)... It feels cheap, and the buttons are way more resistant than I would like them to be (the keys are definitely harder to press than 95% of keyboards I've ever used) I know its a "gaming keyboard", but I couldn't imagine having to write a paper or something with this thing.. I think the missing key might be a blessing in disguise because I plan on getting a refund and buying something else with it.

It's cheap and while the feature full keyboard isn't that remarkable the mouse feels amazing to use for the price point.
Pros-The mouse makes the entire package worth it- the keyboard comes with 7 different back-light colors-the keboard is spill proof ,not water proof-its cheapcons-the keyboard feels cheap to type on- the mouse only illuminates blueOverallits cheap and its a good upgrade from generic mouse and keyboards. and the mouse make this entire package worth it . I got this on sale for $25 CAD.

Decent budget keyboard. *ONE MAJOR ISSUE*
Keyboard started off decent. Some of the light colors were dimmer than others. inconsistent. And some keys are dimmer than others on certain colors. Also, a major bug I had is that sometimes the keyboard virtual sticks a key down until i press another. major issue as I use this keyboard for gaming. (I.E While driving I press "D" to turn right and after releasing the "D" key my car keeps veering to the right. I didn't have this issue until a month or so after purchase.Keyboard is extremely quite due to it not being a mechanical keyboard.I have my computer in my room so the Blue light on the logo of the keyboard and on the mouse is extremely bright when trying to go sleep, you can't turn them off and my computer is on 24/7 so that was another issue I had.The mouse is great expect for the placement of the "Back" button on the left side of the mouse. I've accidentally hit it plenty of times. All in all, I like the keyboard and would recommend it.

good keyboard, quiet
this keyboard combo is ok. not exactly as advertised since it can only be one color at a time. an improvement could be light intensity control or a usb hub port.I am happy with the keyboard feel and clarity of the keys.
