AVOID THIS MODEL LIKE THE PLAGUE!
I purchased (4) of these to replace my OEM 2004 Ford Explorer's TPMS sensors, as they were 11 years old and I was swapping out tires anyway. I got them installed, tires mounted and balanced, and got ready to program them, and I couldn't get them to program. I called a garage who said they could program them. When I arrived they had a Snap-On TPMS3, which is a $1200 tool for this purpose and should do the job. NOPE! Turns out you HAVE TO HAVE DORMAN's Multi-Fit PROGRAMMING TOOL. I'm now going to have to sell these, buy the 974-002 that according to Dorman will work with my vehicle, and then break down my tires, replace the sensors, mount and re-balance my tires, and then go back to the guy with the Snap-On TPMS tool. Talking to Dorman technical support (Jarrad, if you care) they do not seem to care that this is an inconvenience.

Works perfect- YOU NEED THE PROGRAMMING TOOL
So many negative reviews of this item exist because people failed to recognize you need the Dorman programming tool to program these sensors. There's no way around it. I checked with all of the tire shops around me and none of them had the Dorman tool. Their expensive programming tools couldn't do it either. The good news is once you buy the tool, you can resell it for the same price or higher.I used these sensors on a 2015 Nissan Altima for a set of winter rims. The Dorman sensors allow you to clone the OEM sensors so that the car's computer doesn't need to be reprogrammed twice a year when swapping rims. The Dorman tool does not read the OEM sensors, so you either need a tool to do that or take it to a shop that can read them wirelessly. Or remove the tires from the rim to get the code printed on the sensor.I had a tire shop do all of the work, but all 4 sensors are working perfectly. There aren't many TMPS options on newer cars, and avoiding the dealership in any way possible is the cheapest way. Just remember you need to buy the programming tool!

These sensore are a scam!
These sensors are trash. They are a complete scam. Bought these for my MB S550 and went to 2 different shops with program tools that claimed they would work. The claim that these are universal is so far fetched. Even after I had the tire shop break my tires down to get the code off each sensor like the product video suggest. No dice. Dont waste your money unless you are willing to invest the $190 for the program tool. Which at that point you might as well go to your local tire shop and have it done. You'll come out cheaper. Freaking scam...

Love this solution to avoid relearn
Wow I can’t believe the negative reviews about this product. I bought the Dorman Multi-fit tool back in 2016 for personal use and saved $. The dealership provided me the tpms ID’s from my OE wheels and I simply entered them into the new sensors. TADA! No more visits to the dealer to relearn. Remember you need to buy right frequency 315 or 433 and the Multi-fit tool
