AmodexInk & Stain Remover 1oz Bottle

a ballpoint pen mark on an expensive ottoman covered in fabric. Even though it was at least a year old, this stain remover completely removed it without leaving any stain or any sign at all on the ottoman. So relieved! And frankly surprised, it worked so well!

It didn't work for me. I have a red ink stain on a travel vest. I ordered the item, so the stain sat for a while till the item arrived. I used once, it did not work. Tried it second time. It did not work. And then again, I tried it a third time. Still nothing, the stain remained the same. I thought about returning it. But I guess I am a glutton for punishment and decided to hold it for the next possible stain to see if I can catch the stain immediately and then use the product. But how often do you immediately see an ink stain and reach for a solution. If the product doesn't' work on a set in stain, then what good is it. Extremely disappointed. I would not recommend this product to anyone for ink stain removal

This product was an iffy for me. But I am sure glad I took the chance and ordered this product. I had inherited a bunch of clothing from my aunt who had her clothes identified by somebody writing with black sharpie where the tags usually are in the nursing home. They were excellent quality clothing and I knew somebody could use them. So I tried using my tide pen to get the stains out, and to no avail it just did not even budge in fact it's smeared the stains even worse. So after doing some research and I didn't want to touch the skirt that got the stains all over from the marker that I thought would get taken care of I looked online and found this product known as Amodex. I can't say enough good things about this product considering I had never even heard of the name before until I decided to review what gets black sharpie out of clothing. It took a little bit of scrubbing with a scrub brush and you want to use a little bit of paper towel as you're going through to soak up the stain as you use the product, but it came out within 10 minutes a whole name with at least 11 letters so think about that's about two and a half 3 in along where a tag would be. I've had it come out of all different colors of fabric White pink yellow and even blue it works with everything. In fact I think it works better than the tide pen and I am a tide pen lover. I have recommended this product to so many people especially to my friends who sell on Poshmark and mercari and need to get stains or get their clothing looking mint condition. I couldn't believe how easy, and how well it got the skirts and shirts looking brand new. After I use this product I did wash the clothing and then steamed it. I highly recommend amidex. I bought the 1 oz bottle but I wish I would have got a bigger bottle and I would probably order a bigger bottle if this is going to be your first time ordering. I hope that helps. I will update this as soon as I'm taking another stain out of product so that you guys can see the video but this is a good product.

It didn't work. My son left a gel purple pen in his jeans and it got on his $80 dollars shorts. I was hoping this product would get the stains out.UpdateI originally tried this product and after a few hours . I noticed it was not working. But I left over night and scrubbed this product in and washed shorts I let them air dry and reapplied the product scrubbed and let sit over night and washed the shorts again I noticed it was starting to remove the purple gel ink marks in his mint green shorts. I habe done this for 4 nights now and the spots are pretty much gone theres one tiny area and I'm goung to let sit over night again and the next washing it should be gone. You definitely have to be patient these shorts was pretty bad there was 6 areas about as big as quarters each one . I'm pretty impressed that product actually works . I would Definitely buy again . Because I have pretty much used the whole bottle just doing this every night for 5 nights.

I had a horrible blue ink stain on my white comforter; sorry I didn't take pictures, just got so focused on getting the ink out. But seriously it was so bad, my first thought was to throw it away. Note to self..never fall asleep with a ink pen that is full of blue like marker ink! The comforter was purchased from Amazon, that by the way had no care instructions attached to it, "that's another review;" however the stain was so deep and dark; that when purchasing amodex I though no way this stain would ever come out. Oh my gosh!!! It did!!!! It was shocking to see it happen before my very eyes!!! It was a messy process so follow the instructions explicitly. But after about a half a roll of paper towels ( make sure it's not a cheap paper towel, and protect your surface under the paper towels because its going to bleed out the ink, and wear gloves). I started to see the comforter pattern once again and the ink was coming out. 90% of it was gone but it didn't totally disappear until I rinsed it under cold water. 100% GONE!!!!!*Warning grammatical errors were made in writing this review🤣
