WARN 102350 Jeep JL OE Rubicon Front Bumper Grille Guard Tube, Mid-Height

Mid-height that looks like it will offer the protection I was looking for. No issues with shipping or with the finish. Installation was easy enough. I bought it right before heading out on a trip into the mountains of Northern Arizona from Southern California. Some commented on the clearance between the tow hooks and the bar. I consider this a positive since now I have essentially a closed loop perfect for use with a soft shackle, if needed.I recommend this product.

Just what I wanted. I had to have my husband loosen the bolts some on the bumper. Otherwise I was able to install it myself. Between my husband and I, it was installed in 15 minutes. Very quick! Looks great, fits perfectly on the OEM steel bumper. It does come close to the recovery points on the bumper, but not an issue for me. I have had shackle points attached underneath at the frame. The mid size is perfect. And from the drivers seat you do not see it, so it doesn't affect your sight.

Good: The product is sturdy and nice, and the LEDs work great.Bad: You need to look elsewhere for instructions to take off your bumper. Also, the bumper/bar doesnt come with the plug/harness to attach to your jeep foglight wiring harness. So, you have to connect 8 wires to eachother, and then connect those to a harness to plug into your jeep. So it's time consuming, you need to know how to connect free wires, and you need to cut your harness off your bumpe, or buy a harness plug (I couldnt find one and had to cut mine).

I got my JL Rubicon in September 2021 and wanted to get the Warn mid height grill tube but they were out of stock... everywhere! I looked at other guards and tubes from other manufacturers but couldn't find one I liked better or even as much as the Warn.I waited and waited and waited and then after 7 months they finally came back in stock. So glad I waited and got this one. This gives me the look I wanted. Now understand that if you ever plan to use the two front tow hooks, the bar gets in the way so get yourself some rope shackles for when the need arises. Otherwise this bar looks great, it's super easy to install and fit/finish is right on. For the money it's a no-brainer.

Install only took 10-15 minutes, super simple. The textured finish looks very close to OEM, really like the size and height of the hoop. Overall it's great, hoping I don't have the rust issues that seem to come up with these, it looked great out of the box so maybe that isn't an issue any longer. Glad I went with the mid and not the low, really flows well with the front end of the JL and provides a ton of room for a winch and lights down the line.

I have had many WARN products in the past for my other Jeeps however, this may be the last. Within 2-3 weeks and one rainstorm I now have surface rust on the welds which is unacceptable by all means. Surface rust after 2-3 weeks and one rain indicates poor quality control and manufacturing.

I bought this product for my 2020 Rubicon and it just completes the look of the Jeep. I went with the mid-height bar but there are three options available and it's cheaper than the Mopar option, and built at least as well. The mounting flanges on the ends are solid, no hole, so the bar is sealed up on the inside, water can not get in. The finish is an exact match for the finish on the bumper, so much so that I have people asking me if it's stock. I've also had several people ask me where they can get one. This is a great option for those who, like me, want a nice, simple bull bar and aren't into the "Darth Vader's mask" look of a lot of the aftermarket bumpers.
