Sagor och sagner Staple Bound

I am so, so, so glad this scrumptious Swedish coloring book, Sagor Och Sagner, is back in publication! I have been coveting it for some time now & JUMPED on the chance to buy it as soon as I saw it available again~I was born in a Scandinavian country & have a special place in my heart for trolls & other Scandi mythical creatures which show up all over in this book, as well as fairies & other cool fantasy & storybook folks : ) I liked this book so much I immediately bought Emelie Oberg's other coloring book, Fairy Tales Coloring Book, which I've had on my wish list for a while now.The coloring book itself is a wonderful, very nice quality publication. It's 10" by 8 1/2" & 1/2" thick. It's hardbound, with a dusky metallic gold fabric covered binding & gold foiled accents on the covers. The coloring page paper is the same quality as Hanna Karlzon's coloring books. There are around 50 pages which are double sided, so pencils or similar coloring materials would be best suited. The coloring lines are thick, dark black, except for some of the furry forest creatures which have a light "fur" like outline (so cute). The images would be good for coloring enthusiasts of most all ages & for those with minor visual or coordination impairments.I can understand if this book may seem a bit costly & it was a splurge for me, but will be a well loved addition to my coloring book collection. It would make an incredible gift & the US seller, ColorfulBirdhouse Boutique, is amazing. I'm more than glad to buy some of those more hard-to-get coloring books from them, knowing they have awesome customer service & take great care & effort to make sure each book is well & safely packed before it ever reaches the customer. I like this book a lot. The illustrator has a very unique style - different from all other books I own. Some of the pages where more striking than others - I found that not every page appealed to me. I will tell you that this book was packed perfectly - better than any I've received; there were three (3) layers of protective covering. Given the cost of this book - I probably will not buy it again despite the fact that the art work is done very well.

This book is absolutely perfect. It is filled with all things whimsical. It has a wonderful hard back cover. The paper is wonderful with pencils. I don't use alcohol based markers. So I can't say whether or not they would bleed through. But I have used posca paint markers to add little highlights. Those are acrylic paint pens. And with minimal water used, you can even use wet medias in this book. The paper holds up nicely with Neocolor II's but my Mungyo Watercolor Crayons work just as well.

This is a beautiful book, printed on quality paper. It was unavailable for a couple of years so when I saw that you shipped to the UK, I snapped it up. I am overjoyed to have it in my colouring collection!

This is my favorite adult coloring book of all time. The paper is a dream to color on. Every single picture is amazing. Emilie is an amazing artist. I love this book so much that I have 5 copies.

Just dont like if you use certain markers they bleed thru the paper, but thats the marker not the paper I guess.I love Sharpies but they bleed thru.Maybe do a one sided book.

This is one of my favorite coloring books! The book is well made, the paper is quality, the art is so adorable. I love every page in here.

This is a wonderful book, very whimsical and fun artwork. Excellent quality book and paper and the seller Colorful Birdhouse Boutique always does an amazing job with their packaging and service. I was so happy to find this available thru Amazon to purchase as well. So pleased to have this in my collection now.
