I started out taking 6 pills of the 500mg regular AHCC, also from Quality of Life. I saw that the companies says that this 300mg AHCC is the equivalent potency and was hopeful to try is, especially since it was slightly cheaper per dose. I like the liquid extract better than the herbal capsules that the other one was. I have heard many claims that liquids are supposed to absorb better in the body. I decided to do 3 months with this 3 gram daily dosage as I read that this has helped women to maintain negative HPV tests. I will go with the recommendation to continue taking a 1 gram per day maintenance dosage after the 3 months is up. Before I started this, I was starting to get slight symptoms of the high risk HPV that I had been diagnosed with about 3.5 years ago. I didn't want to just wait around hoping that the HPV would clear up on it's own (especially since the virus can lead to cancer and I have been found to have precancerous cells), I wanted to do something to make my body stronger. I am also cutting out sweets for the most part. After a week, I am feeling better as the health of my body is improving. My eyes are clearer and it is easier for me to wake up a little earlier than usual. I am so glad that I found this product! (Also, I think your body needs a few days to get used to this product. I was stressed out over the cost of it and initially my body defenses were way down!) Give it a bit of time before determining whether it helps you. The great thing about this product is that it is also protective against cancer!

I love the product but it is almost impossible to get the screw lid off. This is my 3rdd bottle of AHCC. I am thinking that this will bolster up my immune system. I am one that believes that the body will heal itself if we give it the right nutrients to get it on the right path. No more junk food - however it is difficult to get the 'right' nutrients from todays' foods'. There is a lot of science behind this AHCC product - we'll see - stand by.I also take Dr. Gundry's Bio Complete 3. We all need to help our GUT along. This is my response from the past. The tops are just too tight.

Does this thing work? All I know is that I have been taking this thing over a year now and psychologically I feel good... I am a bit paranoic about cancer in general, (BTW I am man), so even if this is said to be good for women's cancer, I take it. I must say, I haven't been sick (seasonal flu or cold or fever) since I started taking this. Took two pills before sleep. I am buying these for my parents too, so that they live healthy and long. I guess you can't scientifically justify the effect, other than having a good faith and hope in what researchers say about this mushroom thing. A bit pricy but health is priceless, right?

I had no idea that the Rx was not the same as the AHCC platinum. These have soy and carrageenan. Going in trash. Waste of money. Disappointed

I’ve had abnormal Pap smears for years. After reading about AHCC, I decided to give it a try but didn’t think it would actually work. For the first time in a long time, my pap just came back as negative for HPV and dysplasia. Perhaps it’s a coincidence but I don’t think so. Took two twice a day for a few months And it worked!!
