A Very Nice shirt-jac EDITED AT END
For maybe 9-10 months a year here in N California along I-80 between the Coast and Central Valley,. I normally wear a tee shirt plus a larger size medium weight shirt as a light jacket. I especially like the LL Bean Chamois Cloth items for this purpose. But they are priced out of my range.I tried one of these. Wow! Can't find anything to complain about. Bought a second! I'm 6'2" and about 215 # and 79 years old. I would normally want an L tall or XL shirt, but for a shirt jacket, I go XXL. And this one fits just right for that purpose. Shirttails well below my waist, right where I'd want them. The fabric is a dense cotton weave, almost like a "non-fuzzy" medium weight flannel and is as comfortable as the Chamois Cloth shirts I have. I can add that is seems modestly wind-resistant as well as we have a pretty continual N-to S breeze across the front porch where I like to sit and read.I have two of these, khaki and ivory. Will probably get another one .EDIT: Just noticed that these shirts have outside pockets, like a jacket, big enough for a phone or even a can of beer<G> AND INSIDE pockets on each side, big enough for a Kindle 8 with cover! I could carry a bottle of wine in there<G>

probably one of the better fitting jackets I have
I'm a 5' 8-5' 9", 190 lb dude and the medium fits me almost perfectly. The only "issue" I've encountered is the shoulders being a little too tight and the sleeves being maybe a little too short, but I've encountered that with any jacket/shirt that fits me everywhere else perfectly. Can't really fault that of the jacket, I just naturally have broad shoulders. This is absolutely a spring jacket. The weight of the fabric is a nice balance so it can be worn inside without sweating, but also can be worn outside in 40-50 F weather and not being shocked when a breeze rolls in.The inside pockets are nice, one on each side. They seem like a bit of an after thought because it looks like 10 minutes before each jacket shipped they just slapped down a cut of fabric and stitched them in. Though, I do like it because it does fit the simplistic field jacket style. The odd thing about them is the pocket is over top of the front pockets. Say you have your keys in the left side breast pocket, and you put your hand in the outer left pocket. The keys will be ON TOP of your hand, rather than traditionally being behind. I don't know who thought this was a good idea, it's not a big deal to me, I just find it weird, but I can imagine if your keys are in your breast pocket and you accidentally bump into something, you could jam your keys into the top of your hand. Just feels over complicated for no reason.

Good shirt-jacket
I really like this garment. I am not giving it five stars because I have not washed it yet and I don't know what that will do to it. But it is well constructed. The fit is on the slim side, but not "euro" slim. It fits just right (size medium). In fact, I wish it was just a little baggier because I use it to conceal carry. If I button it, it becomes obvious that I am carrying a weapon. Still, I think a large would have been too big because the sleeves slightly bunch at the wrist. Another thing to keep in mind is the material. It is rather thick, so it is not something you'll want to wear in the summer. This is perfect over a t-shirt and the weather in the 60s.

I LOVE THIS SHIRT/JACKET!
I was pretty skeptical, but for the price, I figured it wouldn't hurt to try. I've been in need of a new shirt/jacket and everything else is so damned expensive as well as poorly made. I know this style is very niche, but the wild prices are just too much. So when I found this, how could I say no? Well. I am happy to report that this shirt has become my favorite piece of clothing! The fit is perfect for me. Everything hangs just right. Unlike many of amazon's house band clothes, wearing this shirt isn't like wearing a large garbage bag. The plain style is just right as well. it's unassuming, but not cheap looking. Which I guess is more about its perfect fit than anything else, since it is a very plain shirt. The build quality is really nice. all the stitching is reinforced. I don't feel like I'm going to bust anything by just sticking my hands in the pockets or bending in any way. The fabric feels really nice and the weight is perfect! I can't say enough good things about this jacket. My only gripe is that they don't make them in other colors that I like!Give it a shot. You might luck out as I did!

Good fit and durability
I really like this jacket! My navy Large just arrived in good shape, very quickly. I plan to treat it like any of my other Cotton shirts, so I have already washed it in cold water and dried it on perm heat. It has held up okay. Not much shrinkage. As a bonus, they gave me two extra buttons (two sizes). Sizes can be a guessing game. I am glad I ordered a large, as I am a 42 chest and a 32 sleeve. It was actually a tiny bit snug, but not much. And the XL would have been too big. I will be wearing it with the front buttons open. My sleeves are a bit long but okay. I may just move the cuff button in a little closer. I am going to get a lot of good use out of this jacket. Very well-made. Substantial fabric that will hold up.

Almost perfect
ProsI'm 6'4", and have long arms and was pleasantly surprised when it fit really well on me.I wear a 2x in most shirts/jackets and 2x was roomy enough to wear a sweater/hoodie under comfortably. The material feels nice, is warm enough for my purposes, and thick enough that it holds its shape wellall in all the fit + warmth is as close to perfect for me as I could expect (clothes hardly ever fit me "perfectly").ConsBeing a jacket, I really wish it was 2-4 inches longer. It sits right below my belt line, which is good enough for standing/walking, but i feel like it rides up a bit too far if I need to bend over/kneel down.
