Amazon Basics Daily Planner and Journal, Hard Cover, 5.8" x 8.25", Black

Really love this journal. I have tried many other journals years ago which are higher price, but I think Amazon basic daily planner is able to be the best choice because it has all content that I need to note for my plan: weekly schedule, weekly goals, monthly schedule, daily to do list, and blank page to note. The page color is not too bright. I like it.

Good price for a well-designed planner. The undated pages will allow me to stretch this planner further; I use it to plan days/weeks to set goals and track how I use my time; I use my electronic calendar for keeping track of my detailed schedule, so I don't need to track everything in it. Some planners go too far with being overly structured, and I find this is just enough structure, while also providing flexibility for me to adjust my approach when I feel like it. The paper isn't super thick, so some pens ghost through to the other side - Frixion pens work fine; the paper is plenty nice for the price.

PROS: For those who aren’t too hard on planners, this is a fantastic value. I couldn’t find anything comparable within ten dollars of this price. The planner has a lot of similarities to goal type planners like Panda and Fox but without the cutesy inspiration and bullet style kind of vibe, so it’s great for those of us who like the goal model but want to be able to use something in the office that does not have a cutesy panda on the corner of the page. It’s basic, functional, and professional looking. CONS: If you are hard on notebooks and planners, this is not the one for you. It has an incredibly thin almost paper-back like cover and I suspect that the binding and glue isn’t going to withstand being tossed in a backpack or shoulder bag for very long. It works great for a tidy briefcase, or those who would use it mainly on a desk top but it’s not as sturdy as the other planners I’ve mentioned. The other con for me is the thin pages. If you are a gel pen or felt pen lover, the pages are too thin for you, the ink will 100% assuredly bleed through. If you color prioritize, you’re gonna need to use colored pencils instead. Pens are not your friend here unless you stick to the classic Bic. As others have mentioned, it might also be a good fit for those who are just starting out planning with this model and don’t want to start with a 40 dollar planner. Hopefully this helps you make a better purchase decision.

This planner has 3 contact pages for lots of room of 6 contacts on each page. It has 6 undated 2-page month calendars, 27 undated 2-page week planners, and 186 single-page daily planners. The cover is pliable and it has 3 ribbons to mark pages, and a band to keep it closed. I'm very pleased.

I was attracted to this planner by the size and price. I love Panda Planners and Elephant Planners but feel like I throw money down the drain when I fill them and toss them out. Pros of this planner: -Size (8.5 x 11 for $10) - Sections for a full month calendar, weekly priorities and daily tasks (comparable to my favorite Panda planner) Cons: - Pen bleeds through pages (I use Pilot or Ink Joy pens); pages do not compare to my other planners -Calendar is only 5 months (my other planners had more and even though the days may wear out, I go through periods of time I religiously use my planner or skip weeks at a time, so it’s nice to have a full year of write in calendar squares) Overall, great value for the price but the cons ensure that I’m once and done with this brand. I need bleed proof pages and more calendar pages.

This six-month planner/journal is particularly useful for short-term, day-to-day use when you are trying to form a new habit and/or keep on track when working on a specific project. It is not very useful for long-term scheduling (in part because you have to fill-in the dates as you go since it is undated.) However, it's short-term, day-to-day features are precisely what renders it extremely useful. Look carefully at the photos. What you see is what you get. Quality is good. Large size is, I think, most useful. For me this is not the kind of object one should carry around all day. Keep reading and you'll see why. Best way to use it is to fill it in each morning in order to get a handle on what should be most important to accomplish that day, AND then to fill it in again at the end of each day and use it as a tool to evaluate the effectiveness of the day and to plan better the following day. In short, this planner/journal helps you reflect... Smartphones and computers will better allow you to schedule events long-term (WHEN, WHERE, WHO), but this item can really help you understand WHAT you are doing on a day-to-day basis, WHY you are doing it, and HOW you can learn to do it better. One more thing: The paper is thick enough that my board tipped Japanese fountain pen does not bleed through. Do note, however, that I do not press hard when I write. I also used a medium tipped Italian fountain pen with no problem. I plan to regularly use a medium tipped Japanese pen and I anticipate no difficulty. BTW I just bought three more, two to give as gifts and one for myself when this one is fully used!

I appreciate the quality of the paper and the overall quality of the planner, but I purchased this unaware that it was only for six months. When I went looking just now for how I could have made such a mistake (other than the fact that I have literally never, in my entire life, seen a six-month planner before), I found that nowhere in the opening descriptions does it say six months. It doesn't give that information until FAR down the page. Also, I'd prefer the layout not be all months together, all weeks together, all days together, which means I have to keep flipping between sections to track things. Month, week, date together for each month would have made a much more organized and intuitive layout. I would have sucked it up and dealt with the layout, though, if I had the ability to make plans for the whole 12 months of the year.

Ich habe diesen Kalender gekauft, um meine Termine immer schriftlich festhalten zu können. Dies hat mit diesem Kalender gut funktioniert. Das Papier in dem Kalender ist ziemlich fest und gut, um dort Uhrzeiten, Daten etc. festzuhalten. Ich kann den Planer also empfehlen. Zudem finde ich, dass der Planer gut aussieht und einen klassischen schönen Look besitzt. Ein einziger Nachteil, der mir aufgefallen ist, sind die Monatsseiten. Man hat leider nur 6 von diesen, müsste sich also bei der Monatsplanung nach 6 Monaten immer wieder einen neuen Kalender anschaffen. Hier hätte man meiner Meinung nach auch 12 Seiten einfügen können.

The pages are crisp and the printing is clear. Overall excellent quality. Keep in mind this planner is only for 6 months and not a whole year.
