Well made and neat
This valance is a bit different from the norm and is a good fit on a double bed. The edge seam is well stitched and the valance itself is made from an unusual suedette material which falls well and can be washed. The material used to fit under the bed differs from the valance itself and is a bit of a "doubled edged sword" - it is very slippery. The slipperiness means that when you replace the mattress it can get rucked, on the other hand, it is easier to pull into position under the mattress due to its slippery nature. Once fitted though the valance remains perfectly in place. Overall I like the look and feel of this item and it certainly neatens up the base of the bed.
