No, the clippers are designed to be used with Play-Doh. All they do is “trim” the Play-Doh that has oozed out of the holes. Those clippers would not cut anything else.

Is this to babyish for an eight year old? She loves doing hair and asked for play doh.

I think she would like it, but I bought it for my 2 year old who is 3 now and he still loves it.

Does the play doh get stuck and clog up/ dry in the head holes? I remember that frustration well as a kid.

The Play Doh comes out. My youngest grandson made all of the sound effects with this set and had an awesome time playing with it!! I highly recommend this set!! I had bought one for Grandma and Papa’s house and one for each of my grandsons house!!
