this was my intro to the fantastic OliveNation extracts
I've primarily used this to make strawberry milk. I appreciate that it's unsweetened because I can add my own. I don't detect any alcohol taste, it's all strawberry! I use 1 tsp for 12 oz of "milk" (which I make with heavy cream and water, 1:2 ratio). It's a little light but enough flavor for me.This extract made me confident in the OliveNation line and I've since ordered 10+ more different flavors, almost all of which are great!

A fair and honest (not angry) mixed review
UPDATE: I changed my review from 1 to 4 stars, given the following:after adding a teaspoon per gallon into my Vintner's Best blueberry wine that needed a little something, I was initially worried. The cotton candy smell was intense and I really didn't think the blueberry flavor would ever show up. Well, after a few weeks I have discovered that this mates perfectly with this cheap wine kit:5 gallon batch2 cups sugar dissolved in 1 cup finished wine5 teaspoons blueberry extractset it in fridge.NOW, here is what you must do. Aerate it before you drink it. toss it in a blender then refill your wine bottle. Viola! Incredible!still not an A+ product, but a solid 4/5 I think after further examination. So I've seen a lot of very, very, negative reviews, almost downright hostile.this review is going to be negative but it there's just no reason to get so angry at getting a product and not having it meet your expectations.I ordered mango grapefruit and blueberry. TTB. These are two flavor alcoholic drinks I'm making from hard seltzers and a blueberry wine because I did not like the way the vintner's best blueberry wine turned out.First the mango is actually pretty decent not great but the closest to actually smelling like what they claim and it tastes pretty good. For the money if you plan on doing a lot of small mango additions as a secondary flavor to another beverage, I think it's worth the money. The smell of the grapefruit although I've not used it yet, smells more like citrus than actual grapefruit.I'll be putting that in my next batch of hard Seltzer to see how that turns out so I can't call it one way or the other but it does smell kind of sort of like grapefruit. As for the blueberry, this stuff was so pungent it smelled like cotton candy through the box that I came through in Amazon. When I opened it it actually has a smell more like cleaning solvents than actual blueberry. This does not in any way smell like blueberry, and my nose is highly tuned for this sort of stuff so I can attest that it factually does not smell anything like blueberry. The taste isn't much like blueberry either but more like a fake candy blueberry-esque flavor.I'm certainly disappointed as maybe I should have done some research but I trusted YouTube guy that I like and he's seem to think that the Cherry was pretty good. We'll have to see how it melds with the wine after it sits for a week I was hoping for a little more blueberry presentation.I hope this is helpful, I think all of nation is trying to put out something decent for a cheap price and I can't really fault them on that.I assume if you want something more authentic you're going to be paying three to four times as much.

Best flavorings around
I make flavored dark chocolate caramels to sell at a local farmer's market. Because of the quality and price, I've switched almost exclusively to Olive Nation flavorings and extracts.

Great for making your own coffee syrup!
Use this for refilling our coffee syrup pump. Just boil 3 cups water and 3 cups sugar for 5 minutes and let cool. Add 1 tablespoon extract, whisk and funnel into 24oz bottle. Tastes great!

My order is past its best by date.
The expiration date or best by date was 07/22. Order and received this item in Nov 22. It smells and tastes ok. Why put a best by date if you ignore it.

Not a bad flavour but needs to shaken a bit
Not the best nor the worst it just needs a bit improvement..when I first tasted it it tasted kind of off ..in my drink it was not bad but had to use more to get the taste a bit..next time I shook it up a little and then in the drink it tasted better…yes also the alcohol is kind a strong in it for one has to use more to get a good taste…Pete O….

Marketing and quality of expensive product leagues apart.
Amazon disallows return of these poor quality flavour extracts as potentially “explosive” to ship. (No danger apparently exists shipping them TO you however, lol!)Purchased these expensive “extracts” as hopeful improvement over grocery store brands, which turn out to be far better flavoured at less than half the price of these heavily alcohol based products. Berry flavours are almost non-existent, and banana, coconut, etc. have brackish aftertaste of artificial sweeteners. Normally don’t waste time/energy on negative reviews, but these are expensive, disappointing, un-returnable, and to be avoided.

Very Weak
Today I used the Maple Extract for the first time as I wanted to use up the product I always used to use but couldn't find it. My recipe calls for 1/4 teaspoon. I had to use over 1/2 teaspoon and it still wanted enough. I'm going to try to hunt for the brand of peppermint extract I used before or try another brand because this one doesn't cut it.

Not worth the money
This is a very pure quality product no taste of raspberries at all. I would not recommend purchasing it I purchase it to use for a raspberry vinaigrette didn't even taste like it texture is terrible. Don't by it.

Extracts
I have looked all over for a larger container of almond extract,ya I found it at amazon. I use quite a bit of almond in my baking and was tired of buying small bottles and very expensive. Great product.
