We have about a third acre pond. It is working great. Our fish/pond guy was impressed we took such care in picking one out. Highly recommend

I'd give it 10 stars, don't waste time, and money buying cheaper models spend the cash once, and get a quality product, I have a AP-60 that has been running 6 years 24/7 and have only have rebuilt it once about 6 months ago.

I have (3) AP 100 running 24-7-365 in my 400ft long 8' deep. Had all these pumps for 6-8 yrs. these are truly GREAT pumps. I rebuild them about every 2-3 years. Keeps large holes, open areas in the ice in bitter winter weather in mid Michigan. These are truly worth the money! Remember, there easy to rebuild! Make sure you get a repair kit with the flapper vaules. I have had some air lines freeze solid and didn't notice for days. Usually no problem when line is defrosted. The worst thing that can happen is a rebuild because of back pressure from a frozen air line. My pumps are running perfect and my neighbor who purchased pumps costing 3 times as much can't find replacement parts! Great pumps Danner!JS Howell, Mi.

Great pump, I have a 4500 gallon pond and it powers four diffussers very well. This would be excellent for ponds that are larger to.

It came the very next day after I place my order. Five min. after it arrive it was working in my pond. Perfect.

Quite after 5 months no return. Move on to another.

7/14/15: Only gave two stars because it has bang for the buck and nice output...but I'm my third in three years!!! They totally crap out almost exactly after running for one year. If you're like me, your expensive koi need air immediately and there's no time to ship it to the manufacturer for weeks of repairs and paying expensive shipping fees (it's heavy to ship) plus repair costs. I'll eventually fix one of the broken ones so I have a backup, but right now, “the day the pump suddenly dies” is an annual event that usually corresponds with the exact home the weather is about to gear up and the koi need the air!UPDATE 8/10/17: 2015 pump died today! On to the next one!!!UPDATE 4/16/19: the 2017 pump is now dead!!! AGAIN, for fifth time, EXACTLY two years after purchasing the last one, it died AGAIN!!! It’s like clockwork!!! The last couple ran for two years and not one like their predecessors, but they just die out of the blue at one or two years exactly! I’ve never had one last more than two years...and I’ve had FIVE NOW!!! It’s hard call bc it’s powerful for the cost and many similar outputs are two to three times as much...and can still crap out in a flash! It’s a really tough call...just be prepared with ANY pump to have them die suddenly and without warning...and generally the minute you really need it (ie first warm day of spring or first day of a heat wave in summer!). I’ll shop around, but will likely end up buying this AGAIN ...who needs to worry about new tubing sizes?! And I don’t want to spend double on a rocking piston pump (I’ve had those too!) and then be TWICE as upset when it dies anyway!!! THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!
