I bought this box cutter because it was advertised as safer than your regular box cutter. Historically, I have often cut myself with standard box cutters. I have found this one very easy to use and I have not cut myself once. It even has a great design, which is much more usable than your standard one. I think I recall that when I bought it, the detailed description said that the blade (ceramic?) lasts much longer than the usual metal blades. I have actually purchased 2 of these because I keep them in different places in the apartment, and neither of the blades has gotten dull. Great product!

Ergo friendly design. We open a lot of boxes and had a team member complaining of pain from holding the box cutter. I did a little research and decided to try this item. Much better! Only one they want me to order! Also love that the blade auto retracts so a bonus safety feature.

This has been one of my favorite purchases of the year! Recently started ordering more packages, and this has made it much easier to open without ruining the contents. With its lock, can’t hurt yourself. Also, with its build, it’s hard to miscut/open incorrectly!

This box cutter really stands out for how safe and comfortable it is to use. The ceramic blade is sharp enough to slice through cardboard and packing tape easily, but not so sharp that you’re constantly worried about cutting yourself. It’s a great option if you open a lot of boxes at home or at work and want something a little safer than the usual utility knife.The handle has a unique shape that feels ergonomic and solid in the hand—it doesn’t slip or strain your wrist. I also appreciate the three-position manual slider, which makes it easy to control how much of the blade is exposed.That said, it’s not the best tool for super tough materials like thick plastic strapping, and the handle might feel a bit bulky if you have smaller hands.

I absolutely love this box cutter! The grip is fantastic and the blade extends and retracts with ease (but is secure in either position). The blade is still sharp after extended use.

Getting this item felt like a huge splurge! I’m so glad I did. It’s easy to use, smooth cutting ability, strong grip and made opening my boxes so much easier. I highly recommend.

Comfortable grip, great blade. Handle makes it convenient to hang near entryway for opening packages upon arrival. Bought 2 more after first use.

I purchased this to break down cardboard boxes for recycling. However, while comfortable to hold; the blade is so small that it doesn't cut through cardboard. I have to go over the cut several times until it goes all the way through so I have to be careful how I use it.
