There is no problem with the way this release cable works; my only reservation is that it uses the same 2.5" jack used by the mic, meaning that you can't use both at the same time. Other than that, operation is smooth and overall this offers great value for money.

Only used it once or twice so far but seems to work well. Easy to use. Jam it in, press the button. Job done.

Works as expected

Received the JJC shutter control today. Package seal was already broken when it arrived so was this a 'return' to Amazon and sent out to me? The control feels cheap and you cannot use the hold button single handed by pressing and sliding it forward as it jams. To do so, you need to catch your nail under it and move it whilst holding the button down with the other hand. What a waste of money!! Will order a genuine Fuji release as a replacement.

Looks and feels good but wasn’t right for my brand

Simple and effective.Spent 10 mins trying to work out how to open to put batteries in. It doesn't open as no battery required!!!Read the box man, read the box!

This is a remote release cable for a camera. The shutter release button does not move forward and lock into the position for shutter times of >30 seconds as required when using the B shutter time setting o the camera. It is therefore not usable.

Do the same as the original one from Fujifilm at more than half the price

Mala calidad sin discusión. Aspecto plásticoso, el botón de disparo es duro y difícil de accionarlo en modo bulb. Para nada recomendable.

Oggetto leggerissimo, in plastica lucida. Dotato di un unico cavo a molla con due jack maschio alle estremità (nel mio modello per Fujifilm X-E3 i due jack sono delle medesime dimensioni). Il prodotto funziona correttamente.
