Lucky Stars: A Graphic Novel (Mr. Wolf's Class #3): Volume 3

Year 5 class love this whole series of books.

My child finds reading really difficult but has read this and the other books in the collection over and over. It has been a good alternative to Dog Man books. The text is challenging but not too challenging for those reluctant readers. The size of the book makes children feel they have read a decent sized book without it being too overwhelming. Just wish there were more in the collection.

I loved my latest foray into the world of Mr Wolf! These always make me smile! When Mr Wolf tasks the class with writing personal narratives, there’s more than just stories happening! Friendship, holidays and accidents all round. I love these books so much! I can’t wait for the next instalment!

My kids love the Mr Wolf series! The school theme helps them process what’s happening in their real lives, the text is not overwhelming, great for kids who are developing readers.

I picked up a Mr Wolf book at Walmart last year at Christmas as it seemed the kind of thing my then 9 year old son would like - I'm constantly trying to encourage reading of any sort as he's more interested in things with screens.When he sat down and started to read this after all the Christmas excitement was done, he kept on going and read the whole thing cover to cover in one sitting pretty much - he loved it!I checked and was delighted to find there were 3 more books in the series - so I picked those up for him as well. He's read them all, cover to cover numerous times and has in fact kept going back to them as well which is a pretty good recommendation in my eyes, especially with a kid who struggles with reading and books in general.Highly recommended, we now can't wait for book #5 to come out!

Animation and storyline kept my kids very interested in the book.

Graphic novel - funny and full of bits of information -- Did you know that Taco Cat was a palindrome? Know any others - Dad, Mom, Bob, ... Those who loved the Dav Pilkey DogMan series will LOVE Mr. Wolf and his classful of school children. Great reading - Great fun. Great bits of new information to ponder -- Any 2nd-5th grade reader will love reading/sharing this series. Awesome reading. Get all the books in the series.
